An exclusive party? At the Viton Hotel? Maria didn't respond, but Vivian could hardly hide her
excitement.

"Aunt Patricia! Viton Hotel is where the Film and Television Association conducts activities, right?
Would there be famous directors, producers, and other actors at the party tomorrow?"

In her eagerness, Vivian almost rapped her response to Patricia and ended up short of breath as if she
had just finished an intense workout.

Attending events like these was exactly the dream of new actors like Vivian.

Under her tutelage, even if Vivian weren't a professional singer, singing a song would be a piece of
cake for her.

"Vivian, it's a rare opportunity tomorrow.You must sing your best piece and try to make all the quests
remember you.Understood? If you're lucky, you may get to sign several new plays right on the spot."

When she mentioned this, Patricia smugly glanced in Maria's direction.It was her intention to make
Maria realize what she could do.She could easily give Vivian an opportunity to become an A-list
actress.

Maria, on the other hand, would get nothing from her because she was a small fry from a small, remote
town.

Patricia wanted to make Maria see how she made Vivian famous.

This was her punishment.

She glanced around the living room, but Maria was no longer to be found.

"Mom! Aunt Patricia got mea role in the show! And she's also taking me to an exclusive party
tomorrow!"

Despite being out of breath, Vivian still had the energy to tell her mom the good news.

"I see.Be a lady.Don't jump and run around the house like a rascal."

Even though her daughter was filled with excitement, Julie acted as if she had only heard a trivial
matter.

There was not a trace of joy on her face, and her tone even sounded a little reproachful.

Obviously not the reaction she was hoping for, Vivian felt like she was thrown a bucket of cold water
and promptly quietened down.She then carefully walked past Julie and didn't dare prance.

Instead, she tiptoed into the piano room and gently closed the door.

"Oh, there you are.Care to join me for a drink?"



As soon as she made it to the living room, Julie grabbed two glasses and a bottle of wine from the rack
of the bar cart and held it up to her bestie.

Patricia smiled and shrugged.

"You're too strict with Vivian.Even I felt sorry for her.Can't you be gentle to your own child?"

"I see.Well, I get what you mean."

After breathing a sigh, Julie poured half a glass of wine for Patricia.She then filled her own goblet and
swirled it around.
