The Director

The most famous director of Yeez Entertainment, Francis Jackson, was also invited to this banquet.He
actually had no interest in parties like this, so he usually refused dozens of invitations every year.

Instead of having those celebrities buttering him up, he would rather lock himself up in the studio and
modify script lines of the roles to make the show perfect.

At the thought of this, Francis picked up a glass of champagne and idly scanned the banquet hall.



Then, his eyes suddenly opened wide.

Just when his desire to see Maria got so intense, she appeared before his eyes.It was really her.

"Pardon my intrusion, but I have something important to tell you."

Francis was indeed a great director with a strong personality.He went straight to the point without even
a shred of hesitation.

However, Allen, Walt, and Stephen didn't take it as a good sign.

In fact, they panicked and screamed in their minds.They glanced at Anthony first to see his reaction,
before they worriedly turned their heads to Francis.

What was he thinking, speaking so seriously like this? Was he blatantly going to try and steal Maria? Of

While they were still worried about Francis’ fate, Anthony spoke calmly.

"Director Francis Jackson, right? May I ask what your business with my fiancee is?"

The expression on Francis’ face didn't change much.

After all, he didn't care much about Maria's personal life, let alone her engagement.He just wanted to

Out of politeness, he looked at Anthony and greeted, "You are Mia's fiance? Nice to meet you.But if I
may, I just have something important to discuss with her.I may need to steal some of her time."

Francis’ tone sounded a bit anxious but tough.It was as if he wouldn't take no for an answer.



But even so, Lyndsey could swear that this was already the most approachable tone that she ever
heard from Francis.

However, these people didn't know him as much as she did.She was worried that he might have
offended a powerful man without realizing it.

Lyndsey also didn't know Anthony on a personal level, but she was a very smart woman to gauge what
