An hour later, Lu Jia’er and Jin Xiangdong had arrived at Boston Airport.

They did not believe it. They thought this was a joke.
Maybe, when they got off the plane, Jason would appear before them and tell them: I tricked you. Surprise!
However, when the plane landed at the airport in City B, there was no trace of Jason.
Jin Xiangdong contacted his secretary at once. Upon learning the details, they headed to the hospital at once.
On the way, Lu Jia’er contacted Xu Lei and was informed that Su Han had been rescued by MSS. But something unexpected happened in the process. During the rescue, Jason, the vice chief engineer of BUA Technology, came to the site. When Su Han was rescued and they were leaving, the kidnapper detonated the explosives. Jason protected Su Han who was weak himself but he was hurt in the explosion and was in critical condition.
It was a fortunate thing that Su Han was safe. Yet, at the same time, Jason was in fatal danger.
In the hospital, Jin Xiangdong and Lu Jia’er met Jason’s mom Professor Li again. It was only two months since their last meeting but Professor Li appeared to have aged overnight.
“Mrs. Li!” Jin Xiangdong hurried to Professor Li.
Seeing that Jin Xiangdong had come, Professor Li burst into tears. “Xiangdong!”
Jin Xiangdong supported her with his arms. “How is Jason doing?”
“Still in critical condition!” Professor Li grabbed Jin Xiangdong’s hands tightly.
The Jin Family and Yan Family had always been close. While Jin Xiangdong grew up abroad, Jason’s parents were involved in his upbringing. He and Jason had been close friends for many years.
