Realizing that she had accidentally revealed her true nature, Mu Huan hastily hung her head low. “He’s so infuriating at times that even I would want to beat him up.”
As the man stroked her head, he said, “Just let me know whenever you feel that way. I’ll beat him up, instead. With your weak punches, you won’t be able to teach him a lesson at all.”

The latter, after receiving a message from his older cousin, lightly advised, “It’s better if you remain in the hospital for a couple more days for further observation.”

Despite her having a younger sister-in-law who was of the same age as her son, Gu Qianru felt no pressure at all. On the contrary, she seemed to be rather fond of her!
With a turn of her head, she looked at her son. “Chenyi, you’ll have to pay more attention to taking care of your aunt in school from now on!”

Mu Huan: “…”
Forget about taking care of me, it’s good enough if he doesn’t find trouble with me!
