Chapter 14: Florence Li,Come Over.

Brian takes a drag and looks at Rodney. He says coldly, "The child is still in my hands, so the woman does not dare to run unless someone helps her."
"You mean..."
"Check out the flight records of Austin."
Rodney understands and nods, "I will."
He turns around and is about to go away, only to meet Florence face to face,who just came in. He stares at her blankly, "Miss Li?"
"Yes?" Florence finds he is going out, and is curious, "Secretary Cao, where are you going?"
Rodney does not speak. Instead, Brian narrows his eyes and throws the cigarette butt into his ashtray. He looks at her and asks, "Li, where have you been?"
Florence points at the bag in her hand and says, "I finished the resignation procedure and went to my colleague's to take my previous uniform. When I returned,Secretary Cao did not wait for me outside. I didn't have a mobile phone, so I took a taxi back myself. "
There is no loophole in her statement this way.Brian has no look on his face. He looks at Rodney on the side and says, "Here is nothing for you, just do what I told you first."
"Yes."

Then she turns and walks toward the second floor.After just taking two steps,she hears Brian's voice, "Wait."
Florence stops her footsteps and turns to look at him.
"Florence, come over."
His hooked lips are seemingly greeting to his pet.Florence hesitates for a moment.But remembering what Austin said today, she knows that it is best not to make Brian unhappy at this time.
Biting her lip, she walks over and her arm is held by him soon. She doesn't react, and then sits firmly onto his laps.
"Ah..." She is shocked, but immediately her face becomes red and she reaches out to push him, "Brian, what are you doing?"
He grabs her hand and forces it on his chest. His narrow eyes are chilly and scary, "Li, you are so afraid of me? Um?"
"I am mot!" She can't get rid of his restraint, so she gives up.
"Then why do you always want to escape?"
He reaches out and grabs her chin, forcing her to look directly at him, "You used to be like a plaster. Are you still Florence now? Um?"
Florence's heart sinks.There appears a bitter smile on her mouth. She wants to tell him that Florence in that year had already died in the operating room of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital.But she doesn't make it clear.
In her silence, Brian's fingers slide along her jaw, and finally his fingertips stop at her canthus,which makes her itchy but she doesn't dare to move.
Brian closes tightly his lips, staring at her canthus. There is a shallow scar. It was him whom the old man threw the cup to when he was a child. She rushed over to help him block it. As a result,she was almost made blind.
His fingers unconsciously rub the scar, and he sighs, "Li, if you are obedient,I won't pursue some matters."
"If I am timid, could you please agree not to fight for Nelson with me?" She suddenly says.
