The first day she returned to Si House passes away. Nothing has happened, and it is surprisingly peaceful.
Florence returns to the room upstairs to rest.

Florence restrains her surmise and prepares breakfast. Nanny Liu takes Nelson’s share upstairs.
At the table, Florence lowers her head and eats her own, taking the spoon and passing the porridge into her mouth.
