When Rufus came to my rescue, I couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. I didn’t expect Shawn would act

“We’ve already made our mate bond public, Sylvia. Why should we hide?” Rufus gave me another
peck, smoothed my hair, and continued to walk forward.

The glances from the passers-by around me made me feel shy and anxious, but happiness seemed to
