I glanced at Murray, who had followed me out of the room, and cleared my throat. “Let’s go.”

Blair caught my hint, bid goodbye to Murray, and left the ramshackle cottage with me.

When we were alone, I continued the subject we hadn’t been able to finish. “You said you’ve seen that
book before. Where did you see it?”

company. I remember how to open the room. I’ll figure everything else out by myself. And I am also
capable enough of fighting ten people alone.”

Although being pregnant might impede my movements a little, I could always run away.
