I had a sinking feeling that something bad was about to take place once she realized Blair was the
wanted criminal, so I knocked her out instantly before Blair could react.

He gave me a thumbs up and said, “You show the same style I once had, decisive and bold.”

I crossly said, “Quickly hide her somewhere.”

Blair acted with urgency and carried the she-wolf away, concealing her in the bushes.

I watched him strangely, wondering if he was just a freak who enjoyed getting beaten. The wound on
