Fake

Bonita's screams attracted everyone's attention.

People started to look at them and whisper to each other.

"Who is she?"

"She is from the Sampson family."

"The Sampson family? Do you mean the Sampson family, who is in charge of the Quantum Group?"

"Shh...Keep your voice down.You can't afford to offend the Sampson family."

As everyone around began gossiping, Bonita angrily walked to Claire and Haylee.

Sea belongs to her."

The guests broke into an uproar when they heard that.

The Williams family had only invited celebrities and revered personalities to the party.

They were all wealthy, influential people.

Even so, only a few were confident enough to admit that fifty million dollars were no big deal to them.

Everyone started gossiping.



"Mr.Sampson has divorced her."

Haylee became furious when she heard what the guests said.

Just as she was about to retort, Claire laughed scornfully and cast a disgusted look at Bonita and
Sierra.

"Forget it.Don't lower yourself to the same level as these bitches.Let's go."

Claire grabbed Haylee's hand and turned to leave.

However, Bonita quickly stepped forward and blocked their way.She was seething with rage.

"Where are you going? Now that the truth is exposed, you're planning to leave? It's not that easy!
You've stolen a piece of jewelry worth fifty million dollars.You'll have to spend the rest of your life in jail."

Bonita turned to Sierra.

"Sierra, what are you waiting for? Call the police!"

"Bonita..."

Sierra's face was taut.She held Bonita’s hand, hoping to leave as soon as possible.

Bonita shook off her hand and strutted toward Claire, determined to send her to jail.



Claire never thought Bonita would be so stubborn.She crossed her arms over her chest and sneered at
her.

"Call the police.I'll wait right here."

Bonita recoiled in shock.She had never seen Claire behave with such arrogance before.

Claire turned to look at Sierra, her nose scrunching up with disgust.

"I have dignity.This jewelry rightfully belongs to me.Perhaps someone was greedy that she sold it for
money.That's why she is still silent."

Claire seemed so confident that even Bonita began to doubt herself.She turned and looked at Sierra
with suspicion.

Sierra's body stiffened.She had secretly sold the necklace to pay off her family's debts.

Darren had gifted her several precious ornaments and jewelry over the years.

He wouldn't even remember if she lost Tear of Sea.

However, she never thought it would find its way to Claire.

Of course Sierra would never admit that she sold it.

Suddenly, an idea occurred to her.

"It's fake! This necklace must be fake," she bellowed.

Bonita was naive, so she immediately believed her lie.

Now that she had another reason to hurt Claire, Bonita lunged forward and grabbed the necklace.



"Shame on you! How dare you talk back to me when you're wearing a fake necklace?"

The necklace snapped into two and all the gemstones scattered on the floor.

Claire winced in pain as Bonita's violent act left a red mark on her neck.

A dazzling piece of blue diamond rolled forward and landed beside Bonita's feet.She glared and
stepped on it with her heel.

Anger surged through Claire's veins.

Tear of Sea was a gift from her dear brother.

Bonita had broken it without thinking.

Claire stepped forward and slapped her.

The loud sound startled the guests.

Everyone stopped talking and looked at Claire.

Bonita's eyes widened in disbelief.

It took her a while to realize what had happened.

"How dare you slap me? I'm going to kill you."She pounced on Claire.

However, before she could lay a finger on Claire, someone grabbed her.

Two guards in uniforms dragged her away.

Bonita thrashed and screamed, trying to break free.



Claire's jaw tightened as she watched the guards drag her outside.

Just as everyone wondered what was going on, a resonant voice of a man caught their attention.

"Who the hell is making trouble at the Williams family’s party?"
