Chapter 2

JENNIFER'S POV

"Jenny, consignment of the day. Michael Hufaaza in Pleasure Club. Do it in an hour. Now!" With that
Sameera cut the phone leaving no option but to leave without even asking the true name of the girl for
whom I had turned into a Superwoman. Umm... Kind of !

So... I shall be late for home... again. Home? That 4 storeyed apartment was barely a home for me.
Where i knew no one. One might say that i had a very caring father who would be waiting eagerly to
receive me in the house, or an adorable step-mom nearly of my age... yup, she's 29 while I'm 27. My
'father' remarried when I had been away for my studies in the medical school.

Anyway...

I got into the car, once I found the keys lying nearby. I rode away, shouting a 'bye' to that girl. I zoomed
past the roads approaching. Till yesterday, i was a rule adhering, obedient citizen of the country. But in
order to meet the deadline, i had broken two traffic signals, almost ran over some pedestrians and
driven down a bridge through the wrong side. Finally the car came to a screeching halt in front of
Pleasure Club. I had covered the distance of 45 minutes in 10 minutes.

The plan was simple. Spot him, Approach him, Space him out. After all, i couldn't wipe him out totally
as he could prove to be a good link for getting hold of other contract assassins at loose.

I already knew about the layout of this club, hence finding the green room of the bar wasn't a hassle. I
soon came across the other strippers in the room decking themselves up for the dance. They didn't
seem to mind my presence. So, after checking out some of the dresses,I decided to go with a floral
mini-skirt in pink and yellow. It consisted of a colorful strapless blouse which clung to me like my
second skin.



The outfit revealed more than it covered. Because of my dusky complexion, I only needed to use some
sheer to add a glittery touch to my cheek bones. I put some blood red lipstick on my plump, pink lips. A
put a small chip in my ear to keep the communication with Sameera intact.Then giving an approving
look,walked up the stage. I whispered to her," I am good to go, approaching the stage."

As those words left my mouth, the lights of the approaching stage began to dim while a rhythmic music
began to play as it went up the decible scale gradually.

Soon, I changed into a sultry gait and drunk laughter followed. Once the gleaming lighting got into
action, I swayed my hips with the music. I let my hair down before dramatically raising my head with a
devilish smirk. This earned a lot of hooting. "Hey beautiful! Show us some more of your gorgeous body"
shouted one. While another one shouted,"Marry me !." I laughed, all time with a sultry smile sticked on
my face. Then I began to travel across the stage, while dancing and occasionally winking at the wasted
men. And then... I found my prey standing near the booth, sometimes talking to the bartender but his
eyes were fixed on me.

To say he was disgusting would be an understatement. He had some weird tattoos all over his body,
with studpierced over his eyebrows, ears and even chin. He was well built with a rugged beard.

But still, the appearance didn't deter me.

I need to reach him. Only 15 minutes are remaining of an hour !

I got down the platform and made my way to Hufaaza. I continued to giggle and smile and occasionally
touch the drunk idiots on their cheek and neck. They didn't seem to notice an entirely different girl up
there, all of a sudden. WELL... MY LOOKS SAVE ME AT TIMES I GUESS!

Then suddenly, i felt goosebumps erupt across my body.It followed by a prickling sensation on my
neck. I turned with an excuse of blowing out kisses but actually to see if I find someone 'special' but no
one was present there with such magnetic gaze.



"You only have 10 minutes Jenny, hurry up!" Boomed Sameera all of a sudden. That made me come
out of my trance.

I danced all way to Hufaaza and gave him a sugary sweet smile. I closed the distance between us and
with that the lights dimmed while my place was taken by some other girl. I whispered in his ears," I
wanna kiss you handsome !" I held him by his nape of the neck while moving other hand took out a pill
with a needle attached to it.

All through the process, I still felt someone's heated gaze on my back piercing holes there.

And as a dog waggs its tail on eyeing some food, in the same way, Hufaaza nodded greedily. "Yes,yes!
I'm dying for it since long..." I giggled.

I was right, all the muscles are due to steroids. BLOODY FATASS! I mentally scoffed.

And as I neared, he advanced too and then suddenly sensed some pain at the side of the neck. Yup! I
had injected the needle. "Done!" I announced on the chip as the greedy dog started to loose his
consciousness.

I somehow dragged him to the back door near the booth where Sameera and some police men helped
me get him in the van. Then once I was done, I glanced towards the interior through the back door.
This time I felt a prickling sensation on exposed skin of my waist. I raised my eyesight towards the VIP
section on the second floor. My eyes clashed with a set of deep brown eyes. I couldn't figure out his
facial features because of less lighting. But soon, again Sameera disrupted my thoughts," Jenny,
what's wrong? Go to the green room. Make it fast!" "Yaa." I replied absentmindedly. But when I glanced
back towards the previous spot, I noticed, he was gone.

Dejected, I slipped into the green room.
