Chapter 11 My First Love

I was right. Luoshui Lin was in Chiangmai and the man in the suit next to her was the same man who
was driving the Audi A8 that day.

They seemed so perfect for each other.

I couldn't help but remember the message she sent me before, saying she was getting married soon.

Perhaps it was because of my worthless self-esteem, just as Luoshui and the man were about to walk
out, I clasped Wendy’s waist in my arm for no reason.

Wendy was shaking, and was about to lose her temper as she raised her eyebrows.

"President Bai, don't move. I need you to cooperate with me, just for three seconds," I whispered in her
ear, lowering my voice.

As soon as I finished speaking, Luoshui and the man came out and saw me and Wendy standing in the
doorway. Luoshui was stunned.

Apparently, Luoshui didn't expect to see me in Chiangmai, at BTT Group. Her eyes were filled with
astonishment.

But soon, her gaze moved downward, and when she saw me holding Wendy's tiny waist, there were
amazement in her eyes. She found it unbelievable and even absurd.

"Luoshui?"

I was also dumbfounded and showed my astonishment.



Then I quickly took my hands off Wendy’s waist and said with an embarrassed smile, "Luoshui, why are
you in Chiangmai?"

Luoshui calmed down and did not answer my question directly, but smiled professionally at Wendy and
said, "Hello, President Bai!" then she turned to me with a faint smile.

"Tom, I'm here to negotiate a project, I didn't expect to meet you here."

"Wow! What a coincidence! I'm also here to negotiate a project, BTT Group." I smiled and pointed at
the building of BTT Group in front of us.

I wanted to make myself clear. We were competitors now, you could go abroad to talk about projects
and so could I. You were no better off than me.

Of course, this was just for my meaningless pride, trying to console myself.

Luoshui didn’t look surprised, she should have guessed already.

At this time, the mature and handsome man beside her took two steps forward, smiling very confidently
while extending his hand towards Wendy, "Hello, President Bai."

resist the urge to call Luoshui a second-hand that I had abandoned.

"Thank you." Luoshui nodded.

"President Bai, goodbye."

Cao didn't pay any attention to me, and after saying goodbye to Wendy, he left, holding Luoshui’s hand.

When they were getting in the car, Luoshui looked back at me with a complicated look.

"Then what is it?"

"You came back to work on the project of BTT Group, it is because of Luoshui, am I right? You know



that Luoshui and Wenhuai Cao are also in Chiangmai for the project, so you want to steal it from them
and beat them, right?"

I was surprised. I took a glance at her, this beautiful woman was not a bimbo. She was intelligent, she
was right about everything.

Spitting out another smoke ring, I shook my head and laughed, "President Bai, you're thinking too
much, I want to take this project for one night with you."

"Huh, you think I can't tell what you are thinking?" Wendy scoffed.

I got a little annoyed, "What’s with all your bullshit?"

She didn't say anything, but looked at me coldly.

"Do you want to take the project?" I threw away my cigarette, walked to her and said, "If you want to,
now go back to the hotel and change the plan according to my suggestion."

Wendy was silent again, still looking at me coolly.

I became impatient, and was about to walk away. Wendy finally said, "Let's go back to the hotel and
talk about this later.”



Back to the hotel, Wendy rented the small meeting room again, but did not inform anyone, just me and
her.

"Tom, answer me, why are you so sure you can win the project?" As soon as I walked in the room,
Wendy asked grimly.

I found her question ridiculous and laughed, "When did I ever say I was sure? You are the one who
came to me and asked me to come back and help you. You should ask yourself why you are confident
in me."

Wendy remained poker-faced: "Mr. Shadisong told me about the conversation you had with him the
other night. He said that you were very insightful, that you had a charm which no one else had, a charm
that can convince others easily and naturally. He also said...You're the only one who can persuade the
executives of BTT Group."

At this point, Wendy shook her head in disappointment.

"But I don't see any personal charm in you. All I see is a rude, vulgar, and dispirited reprobate defeated
by breakup and setbacks."

I was annoyed, "What’s your problem? You called me back just to mock at me?"

Facing my invective,raising her eyebrows as she usually did, Wendy said coldly, "I'm telling the truth."

She kept silent again, fixing her eyes on me, poker-faced.



"What the hell." I didn't bother to talk to her anymore and walked towards the door on my own.

"If you walk away like this, I'll only despise you more." Wendy said abruptly.

"You wanna encourage me by provoking me?"

I sneered as I slowly went back to her. I stopped in front of her, taking a closer look at her delicate face.
