Chapter 15 Sleep with Me Tonight

I was feeling nervous. I kept thinking that if he was gay, and if he flirted with me or even threatened me
with this project, what should I do? Shout I beat him? Should I beat him to death? Because I hate gay
the most in my life.

I kept my cool and finished my speech. Then I drew my palms together in front of me and thanked
them. Awala looked at me with satisfaction and clapped his hands. Then people in the conference
room broke out into enthusiastic applause.

I walked off the stage calmly and took my seat. Wendy would deal with the rest of the problems and I
could keep thinking whether I should beat Awala or not.

Technological problems were solved during the first conference. What Wendy needed to talk about was
the amended blueprint for providing services, and gave them a bottom price.

These Thais were obviously convinced, and the negotiation went rather smoothly. In the end, Awala
said they would need to settle it through an inner conference, and he advised us to stay in Chiangmai
for a few days more because Water Splashing Festival was right around the corner, and after the local
tradition festival, which lasts for three days, they would talk with us about the details.

We could tell from what Awala said that he was tempted, and if everything went well, he would discuss
the details of the contract with Wendy after the festival and then sign the contract with her.

Shadisong raised his thumb up to me when we left the conference room, and he also walked to Wendy
and whispered something to her. Wendy’s eyes sparkled with pleasure.

I walked to Wendy when Awala was talking with the others and whispered to her: “President Bai, do
you still remember our bet? Why don’t you just sleep with me tonight?”



Wendy froze. Then she looked at me coldly, and a flicker of panic crossed her eyes. She soon looked
away, and she didn’t answer my question.

I didn’t pursue the question, but I was thinking about how should I sleep with her. Do I rape her, or do I
try to make her sleep with me willingly?

Awala was very polite. He and some high officials, including Shadisong, walked us out of the building of
BTT Group. Awala made some small talk with me when we were downstairs, and when I saw the way
he looked at me up close, I was one hundred percent sure that he was gay.

We were about to leave, but then a few cars zoomed towards us and came to a sudden halt in front of
us. A dozen people walked off the cars and walked towards BTT Group’s building. They were all
heavily tattooed. Obviously they were some local punks with some powerful backgrounds.

The high officials of BTT Group were obviously greatly displeased when they saw these people walking
to us. Especially Awala. He seemed to hate these punks very much.

“Tom!” One of the punks walking at the front shouted at me in Thailand.

I was surprised. I studied this man. He is in his forties, and you could tell he is from South East Asia
just from his facial features. He is stout. His arms and neck are tattooed and there is a noticeable scar
on his face.

I didn’t know this man at all. When I was in prison, I never got in touch with any Thai.

“Tom, how was the negotiation?” The scared man walked directly towards me and greeted me by



putting his hands together in front of his chest.

“Nice to see you big brother Tom!”

“Big brother Tom!”

The people behind him all bowed to me respectfully.

All of a sudden, everyone from BTT Group and Sea Smart Software Company, including Wendy,
stepped backwards as if they were escaping away from people with infectious diseases.

So I was alone standing in front of them, and in front of me, these heavily tattooed punks were bowing
to me. It looked as if I was a leader of the underworld.

But I was not, and I had never joined any group even when I was in prison, even when I got notorious
for fighting, nor had I built a group of my own. So i had no idea who these people are.

How did they know me? How did they know that I was negotiating with BTT Group? What do they want
from me? I was so confused and I didn’t answer his question.

He didn’t seem to mind. He kept saying: “Tom, if you get this project from BTT Group, come to us and
we can throw a party to celebrate. If there is any problem, just tell me, and I can talk with these old
guys in BTT group!”

Then, he shoot a glance at the high officials standing behind me, and smiled slyly.

I suddenly realized what was happening. I looked back, and saw everyone was looking angry.



Damn it! I was tricked. Someone asked these punks to pretend to know me and threaten BTT Group
for me, and the purpose of which is to make the officials of BTT Group hate me and stop cooperating
with me.

Chiangmai’s security is not very good, but it’s not so bad that such a company can be threatened by a
group of punks. When the scared man finished, Awaka shouted angrily: “Security! Drive these jerks
away!”

Then, Awala looked at me and gave a loud snort, and went back. The other people followed him.
Shadisong looked at me and sighed with great disappointment when he left.

Obviously the project was gone.

The scarred man ignored what Awala said, and looked at Wendy who was standing behind me and
said: “Tom, that woman is so hot. Is she your college?”
“Where can I find you?” I ignored his question and asked calmly.

He was surprised. He studied me carefully and said: “Kela Bar.” When he saw the security guards were
coming, he raised his jaw provokingly towards me and then left with the other punks.

When they were far away, Wendy ran to me and asked me in a cold voice: “Tom, what was going on?
Who are these people?”

“I don’t know.” I shook me head, looking after these people as they left.

“You don’t know? They called you brother Tom! They even threatened Awala, and now everyone in



BTT Group is pissed off! We were so close to success and now everything we did was in vain! What
should we do now!”

I didn’t answer her questions. I rubbed my temples nonstop and kept thinking how should I solve this
problem.

I was certain it was Wenhua Cao who did this to me. His scheme is sly but it worked pretty well.

“Tom! Say something! What do we do now?” Wendy asked again, and her tone of voice changed.

I got impatient and shouted: “Shut up you crazy woman!”

“You......” Wendy was shocked.

“Tom! Watch your language! Is this how you speak to President Bai?” Kangning Zhong, who was
standing beside us, stood in front me and said in an authoritative tone.
