Nicole looked at Jared; she had not seen him for only a few days, but it seemed like a century had
passed.

She did not even realize that a smile had crept across her face.

“What are you doing here?”

Jared also looked at her, the surprise in his eyes hard to ignore.

“I have some business to take care of here,” he said in an uplifted voice, despite his conscious effort to
suppress it.

Dino, who was following Jared, looked at him in amazement.

He was accustomed to his listless and indifferent gaze at everything; he had never seen him so
enthusiastic about someone.

There was a crack and a look of disbelief on his glacial face when Dino found out that the person to
whom Jared was showing affection was Nicole.

He did not know that Nicole actually knew his boss.

Harvey looked at Nicole, who was now having a genuine and beautiful smile on her face and was
stupefied and a little lost in thought.

Jared thought, ‘I must be missing this girl after not seeing her for just a few days.’

Looking at Jared’s attitude toward Nicole, Chole’s face contorted, and she forced herself to calm down
before stepping forward and complaining to Nicole, saying, “Why didn’t you tell me you knew Jared?”



She could clearly sense that their relationship was not so ordinary.

Chloe looked on triumphantly at seeing Luka about to slap Zeke.
