Chapter 3 It Was Time to Settle a Score with Them

The crowd at the scene was all confused after seeing this, especially Faye and Shaw Wu. They both
opened their mouths wide in shock.

"What's going on? Secretary Jang even bowed to Josh? He called Josh Young Master?" Faye said
loudly.

At this time, Secretary Zhang turned his head and said with a straight face, "Mr. Wu, this is new
Chairman."

"He is the new Chairman?" Dayong Wu asked with an incredulous expression on his face.

These employees were all stunned. Shaw was even more wide-eyed, and was unable to believe her
ears.

"No! It's impossible! He's just a poor bumpkin. I know his family well.” Faye spoke sharply, "I don't think
he can be the new Chairman.

Dayong also said, "Secretary Zhang, I want to ask if there is some mistake? He’s not dressed like
Chairman."

"Here's the letter of appointment. If you still don't believe me, you can also call Chairman Liu for

Then he handed over the letter of appointment to Dayong. He took a closer look at the identity
information inside, and the person in the photo was really Josh.

Shaw was even more shocked and he went limp on the floor, his face turning white due to the spasm of
his heart. He can't believe he stole Chairman Liu's grandson's girlfriend.

"No, this is impossible!" Faye, on the other hand, stared straight at Josh with an incredulous look
She was confused that Josh would be Chairman Liu's grandson.

Now Dajong ran up to Josh and flattered him.

"Chairman Lin, I'm sorry that I didn't recognize you. Please don't be angry with me."

Dayong knew that Secretary Zhang was the person that Chairman Liu trusted, and Secretary Zhang
would never lie about something about Chairman Liu.

Josh didn't pay any attention to Dayong, but turned directly to these employees.

These employees present all had their heads bowed, because they had all laughed at Josh when he
said he was the new Chairman, and they were now a little worried that this new Chairman would find
trouble with them.

Josh was overcome with emotion as he saw the awe the crowd had for him. They had been laughing at
before, but now they all became respectful to him immediately.

Josh scanned the circle before finally focusing on Shaw.



When Shaw saw Josh walking towards him, the cold sweat ran from his back. He knew Josh was about
to settle a score with him.

When Josh arrived in front of Shaw, Shaw moved to beg for mercy.

"Mr. Lin, I was wrong. I shouldn't have taken your girlfriend. I apologize. I'll break up with her right
away."

Knowing that Josh was Chairman Liu's grandson, Shaw can't think of any other way to stop Josh from
retaliating against him other than begging for forgiveness.

Looking at Shaw who was begging for mercy, Josh couldn't help but thought that it was good to be rich
and powerful. Yesterday Shaw was arrogant in front of him, but today he took the initiative to kneel
down and beg for mercy, which was Josh once never dared to think.

"I don't need this bitch! Besides, you think I can forgive you?" Josh narrowed his eyes.

Saying that, Josh kicked Shaw right out of the way.

"Mr. Lin, if he has offended you, please forgive him." Dayong stepped forward to intercede for his son.

Josh looked at Dayong with cold eyes, "You still have the nerve to beg for mercy for him? Your son's
arrogance has a lot to do with your connivance."

Immediately afterwards, Josh shouted, "I announce as the new Chairman, you and your son are



dismissed from Huading Group as of today."

"What? You dare fire me?" Dayong's face had turned livid.

Dayong had fought for years to become the general manager. If he was fired now, all these years of his

thought that Josh was the grandson of Chairman Liu, he had to hold back his anger.

Shaw looked desperate. He had a sense of superiority depend on his dad. He often assumed an air of
superiority before others in the company. If his dad got fired, he wouldn't have a chance to be so
arrogant again. He felt like he'd fallen from heaven to hell in an instant.

"Security, throw them out!" Josh waved his hand to motion the security guards to kick them out.

The dozens of security guards next to them looked at each other, a little hesitant.

Josh's brow furrowed, "You guys don't hear me? Or you think I'm not in a position to order you
around?"

Security guards were in a quandary right and left. Josh was chairman Liu' grandson, but Dayong Wu
had been the main person in charge of the company.

But now that Josh was the new chairman of the company, they just had to listen to his orders as well.
After figuring this out, more than ten security guards grabbed Dayong and Shaw, and then they were
going to take them out of the company.

Then they carried Shaw right out.

Shaw's lip trembled in anger. He hadn't expected to be so humiliated by a few security guards.

Dayong was calmer though. He was just very angry and didn't yell. As a businessman who had fight in
business for many years, he was well aware of the current situation. He was in no position to fight with
Chairman Liu's grandson.

After they were thrown to the street not far away, many of the employees present were excited. Shaw
was a mean person in the company, so many employees loathed him. Now these staffs here were
happy to see them thrown out.

Then Josh walked up to Faye. He wanted to end his relationship with Faye once and for all.

At this point Faye was white as a sheet. She was with Shaw because of Shaw's money and status, but
now Shaw was kicked out of the company. And her ex-boyfriend, Josh, had turned out to be Chairman
of the company. And he was also the grandson of the richest man in the Southwest. She had never
thought that things would come to this.

"Josh, your family is poor! How could you be the grandson of Chairman Liu?" Faye looked confused.

At the same time, Faye regretted it in her heart. If she had known that Josh was the grandson of Moses
Liu, the richest man in the Southwest, she would never have broken up with Josh.



"Yeah, the world is like a mystery. You never know what's going to happen next.” Josh smiled. “I also
never thought I'd be Moses Liu's grandson either."

chance to get together with Josh that she once despised.

Josh came to the Bob Liu, and Bob was very worried.

"Mr. Lin, I am not in league with Dayong Wu." said Bob.

“I'm not here to trouble you. On the contrary, I'm going to give you a promotion. As of today, you are the
general manager of the company." Josh said.

"Really?" Bob was surprised and delighted.



"Of course it's true." Josh laughed.

Yesterday Josh had paid someone to find out the information about the company after he knew that he
was coming here to be Chairman.

According to information, Bob Liu was a business talent. It was a pity that he was unlucky and was
always under Dayong Wu's thumb. Dayong always stole Bob's credit and made him take the blame.
Actually, Bob just need someone to find his talent and promote him.

Josh had also paid to investigate Bob and learned that he had a good personality, so Josh decided to
promote him.

"Mr. Lin, thank you. I will live up to your expectations." Bob said excitedly.

For Josh, he just gave an order and Bob would get the promotion, but for Bob, the promotion was hard.
He'd been waiting years for this opportunity.

"Don't let me down." Josh said. Then he paused, and continued, "You are aware of who I am. As long
as you run the company well, I can continue to promote you."

"Thank you, sir. I'll do my best." Bob sounded determined.

Bob was grateful for Josh's promotion of him. He was determined to be loyal to Josh and did his best to
run the company.
