Chapter 17 Meeting Jenny Again

“Yes, sir. I will remember what you said!” The manager nodded constantly. He broke into a cold sweat.

Josh looked at the manager and said: “I’ll tell the Chairman of this hotel about this incident. I believe he
will handle it in a proper way.” He then walked into the hotel with Fatty.

“What? He is going to tell......” The manager was so frightened that he collapsed on the ground. He
knew he would surly lose his job if the chairman of this hotel learned what happened.

They walked into the hotel. Josh said to Bob: “Tell the Chairman of Qingyun Hotel about what had
happened today.”

“Yes, Chairman Lin.” Bob nodded.

Josh then looked at Fatty and said: “How do you feel now? Are you still angry?”

“No, I’m feeling much better. I would never have the guts to take revenge without your help. It feels so
good to see him begging for mercy!” Fatty said with great excitement. Because it was the first time he
retaliated after being bullied, and he knew he would never put up with people’s harassment again.

Soon after Josh went back to the lounge, the chairman of the hotel went to him and apologized to Josh
and Fatty. He also assured them that the manager would soon be fired.

The drinking party was about to start in twenty minutes. Basically everyone invited had arrived at the
hotel. There were around forty people. It was a small party because only the business partners of
Huading Group were invited to this party. Since the party hadn’t began yet, many bosses were chatting



casually in groups of three to five.

A middle aged man was seated at a table with a young woman who wore heavy makeups. The woman
was none other than the one Fatty introduced to Josh a few days ago at a bar. Her name is Julia. Josh
could absolutely recognize her when he saw her because she bragged to Josh that she was invited to
Huading Group’s drinking party, not knowing Josh is the Chairman of Huading Group.

The man sitting beside her is her father.

“Julia, I heard the new Chairman of Huading Group is very young. We will meet him in person after the
drinking party, and by then you must leave him a good impression. Our family will have a bright future if
you can marry him.” Julia’s father said.

His point was very clear. He wanted his daughter to seduce the Chairman of Huading Group.

wants to meet you.”

“What does he want?” Josh asked.



“I think he is here seeking for cooperation. We need a company to provide us with building materials,
but his company is small, and the their price is a little high.”

“Then you just tell him what you think, I won’t meet him.” Josh waved his hand.

“Yes, sir.” Bob nodded and left.

Soon after Bob left, Fatty rushed into the lounge, panting heavily. He said in an excited tone of voice :
“Josh! Guess who did I just see in the hotel!”

“Who did you see? Why are you so excited?” Josh asked smilingly.

“Do you still remember the girl we met last night at the restaurant? The one who paid our bill?” Fatty
breathed heavily.

“Did you just see her? Really?” Josh was so surprised that he stood up from his chair in an instant.

“Yes! I am one hundred percent sure it is her.” Fatty nodded.

“What a coincidence!” A smile curved Josh’s lips. He had been thinking about the girl and he wanted to
pay the money back to her, because he didn’t want to be in her debt. He thought the chance of meeting
her again would be very slim, so he was truly surprised that he would see her again so soon.

“We need to meet her. We still owe her some money.” Josh said, while walking out of the lounge.

Jenny, the girl who paid for Josh last night at Shengyan Restaurant, was standing in a corner. She was



dressed in a white coat and a pair of jeans. She looked young and lively.

She saw her father walking towards her, and she went up to him and asked: “Dad, how did it go? Did
you meet the new Chairman of Huading Group? Is he willing to cooperate with us?”

Her father, a middle aged man who looked rather thin, shook his head with disappointment.

“I didn’t see the Chairman. I only talked with Bob, the director. I tried very hard, but he still declined to
cooperate with us.”

Sadness flickered across Jenny’s face. She said: “Dad, don’t feel bad. This is the rule of business. We
are still too weak to compete with the other companies.”

“I know.” Her father nodded. Disappointment was written all over his face.

Jenny determined at that moment to talk with the Chairman of Huading Group herself after the party,
because she knew her family’s company would go bankrupt if they couldn’t get Huading Group’s
cooperation. And this would be their last chance.

All of a sudden, Jenny heard someone talking to her from behind. She turned around and found it was
Josh and his friend Fatty.

Basically no one at the party had met Josh earlier, and no one knew Josh is the Chairman. So his
sudden appearance didn’t cause any commotion.



“It’s you guys!” Jenny recognized Josh and Fatty in an instant. But she was obviously surprised to see
them here.

“I can’t believe we can meet each other again. Obviously I have to give the money back to you.” Josh
said smilingly.

“I am also surprised.” Jenny smiled.

Josh found her smile warm and sweet.

“Can you tell me your name now? After all, this is the second time we meet.” Josh said.

hand. She never wanted to get the money back.

“Jenny, who are they?” Jenny’s father asked.

“Dad, we met yesterday at a restaurant. He was in a little bit trouble, and I helped him out.” Jenny said.

“Jenny, you must stop meddling other people’s business. You will get yourself in trouble!” Her father



said in a strict voice.

“I know.” Jenny lowered her head and said. Obviously, there were strict disciplines at her home.

“Sir, my name is Josh. Nice to meet you.” Josh reached his hand out for a handshake.

Jenny’s father shook his hand coldly.

Josh then looked at Jenny and said: “Jenny, why are you here?”

“I’m here to attend the drinking party, of course.” Jenny said.

“I see. So is your family also cooperating with Huading Group? Can you tell me about it?” Josh was
very curious.

“We would love to cooperate with Huading Group, but our company is way too small to get their
cooperation.” Jenny said. His eyes darkened at the mention of this.

Fatty was trying his hardest to refrain a laugh. Because he had been thinking how would Jenny react if
she knew Josh is the Chairman of Huading Group.

Josh kept asking: “Jenny, what is the name of your company?”

“Tiancheng Building Materials Company.” Jenny said.

“Tiancheng Building Materials Company?” Josh startled. Because only a few minutes ago, Bob told him
that the boss of this company asked to meet him.



At that time, Jenny asked Josh curiously: “What about you? Why are you here? Are you also Huading
Group’s business partner?”

Josh thought about it and answered: “The reason why I am here is because I know I will meet you
here, so that I can give the money back to you.”

Jenny smiled after hearing what he said.
