Chapter 4 I Want to Make a Donation

"I believe you." Josh patted Bob Liu's shoulder and said.

A day ago, Bob, the vice general manager of a large company, was the man Josh needed to look up to.
Now, however, he was very respectful to Josh.

Next, Josh looked to these employees present.

"Today is my first day on the job, and I'd like to give each of you a gift. I'll give each of you ten thousand
privately." Josh said directly.

"Chairman is so generous."

Then these people broke into loud applause.

Josh nodded in satisfaction as he watched everyone smiling happily.

Yesterday Josh’s grandpa had said that Josh only needed to be the titular Chairman, but Josh thought
that since he had become the company's Chairman, he had to make the company grow better, which
was a way of proving to his grandpa that he was capable of being his successor.

Secretary Zhang can't help but praise Josh in his heart, "It seems that Josh is capable. Not only does
he make Bob are loyal to him, but also he win the support of the company's employees."

Josh's performance today had greatly exceeded Secretary Zhang's expectations. He decided to report
everything he had just seen to Moses Liu.

The company was already well run in all aspects, and Bob and the executives can run the company
well, so there was nothing for Josh to worry about. Then Josh left the company after spending the
morning there.

complained.

"He's Chairman Liu's grandson, and with that, we can't fight him." Shaw looked helpless.

"But we can set him up. I'll secretly find some thugs to cripple him." Dayong's face contorted in anger.

Shaw brightened, "Then we give some of the thugs more money and let them hide abroad, so no one
will know we hired them."

"That's right. I know a few thugs. I'll get on it!" Dayong got straight up and out.

"Dad, Let the thugs make him a vegetable!" Shaw roared.

Josh left the office and returned to Qingyang University.

"Josh, you skipped Mr. Butcher's class in the morning. How dare you do that?" As soon as Josh
entered the dormitory, a fat guy said to Josh.

This fat guy was Frank Huang, Josh's only friend in college.



"I have something this morning, so I don’t have time to attend his class." Josh said.

"Well, you can take the day off too. Mr. Butcher said he was going to flunk you in this subject." Frank
said seriously.

"He wants to fail my subject?" Josh's eyes narrowed.

Mr. Butcher, whose name was David Zheng, was one of Josh's college teachers. He was fierce like a
butcher, so his students called him Mr. Butcher.

But the more important reason that Josh has a bad impression of him was that he had seen Mr.
Butcher having sex with a female student last semester.

Josh heard that Mr. Butcher threatened the girl that he would flunk her course if she didn't have sex
with him. In Josh’s eyes, he was a scum.

"Josh, you better apologize to Mr. Butcher and beg him. Maybe he won't flunk your course or it will be a
problem," Frank said.

"Don't worry. I'll talk to him." Josh had a cold grin on his lips.

If this had happened to Josh in the past, he probably would have gone to Mr. Zheng and apologized.
However, now that Josh was the grandson of the richest man in the Southwest, Josh definitely wouldn't
beg him.

Now Josh went straight to the office.



Mr. Zheng was in his office watching a movie. When he heard the sound of a push on the door, he
turned off his phone and then turned his head to look.

When he saw it was Josh, he was suddenly angry that Josh had disturbed him and startled him.

"Josh, why didn't you knock before you came into the office? How dare you miss my class this morning!
Do you know the consequences?" Mr. Zheng snapped with a gloomy face.

"Mr. Zheng, I'm here for this." Josh said as he walked up to him.

"You want to beg me not to fail your subject?" Mr. Zheng rubbed his fingers, indicating that he wanted
money.

Josh smirked. He had already figured Mr. Zheng would ask for money.

Josh sat down in the chair next to him and then crossed his legs. "I’m sorry I don't come here to beg
you. I'm here to give you a chance. If you don't flunk my subject for my missing class this morning, I'll
consider forgiving you for your previous bad behavior, otherwise……”

"Or what?" Mr. Zheng pursued the question with a meaningless smile.

Josh's eyes narrowed, "Otherwise, I swear I’ll make you pay the price."

“What a joke!" Mr. Zheng couldn't help but laugh. Then, he slapped the table.

"You've annoyed me a lot today. You'll have to apologize and give me five thousand Yuan or I'll not only
fail you at the end of the semester, but I'll make sure you don't get your diploma when you graduate."



In Mr. Zheng's opinion, Josh, a poor man with no money and no power, would compromise and beg for
mercy if he threatened him.

Josh's face fell when he heard his words

"Mr. Butcher, you really don't deserve to be a teacher. You didn't appreciate the opportunity I gave you
either, and I bet you'll regret It." said Josh coldly.

With that, Josh just got up and walked out.

Mr. Zheng heard Josh call him nickname and he slammed his fist on the table in anger.

"How dare you call me Mr. Butcher? I swear that you’ll be the one who regrets your words." Mr. Zheng
yelled at Josh.

It was unwise to offend a teacher in college. Mr. Zheng had made up his mind to fail Josh at the end of
the semester and to trick him when Josh repeated his course so that Josh wouldn't get his diploma.

Josh shook his head when he left the office. Mr. Zheng really made Josh feel sick.

Josh could actually settle his truancy thing by just giving Mr. Zheng a few thousand Yuan, but Josh
would never do that. All Josh has to do was to make Mr. Butcher pay for what he had done.

Josh made his way outside the president's office. He knocked on the office door first and got the
president's permission before he went in.



When he entered, he saw the president in a suit reading a newspaper.

The president looked up at Josh and then he continued to read the paper.

"What can I do for you, sir?" he said.

"Mr. Zhou, I'd like to make a donation to the school." Josh said.
Mr. Zhou heard Josh's words and thought he was funny. He thought in his mind that Josh might just
donate a few thousand Yuan to the school, so he didn't take Josh's words seriously.

"Thank you for your kindness, but our school isn't short of a few thousand. You might as well keep it for
yourself." Mr. Zhow replied.

Josh smiled, “I want to donate ten million."

"Ten million?"

The president put down the paper and looked at Josh with a startled look on his face.

"Are you kidding me? You said you would donate ten million to the school?"

He looked at Josh's outfit and thought he wasn’t like the one who could have ten million.

"You can tell me the school account and I’ll transfer the money now." Josh said.

Mr. Zhou thought about it and finally told the school bank account to Josh.



"The transfer is complete, you can check for it." Josh quickly completed the transfer on his phone.

"Mr. Li, you call the bursar's office now and see if the school receives ten-million transfers." Mr. Zhou
said to his secretary who was not far away.

The secretary nodded and then called the bursar's office to confirm the transfer.

"Mr. Zhou, the bursar's office said that they just received a sudden transfer of ten million." the secretary
said urgently.

Then Mr. Zhou took a breath. He didn't expect this to be true. The ten million donations was the largest
donation Qingyang University had received since it was founded.

"Mr. Li, please make tea for him." he said to his secretary.

Then he got up with a smile and came to Josh."Sir, please take a seat. Thanks for your generosity. I
wonder if you could tell me your name." he said enthusiastically.
