"I don't!" Nicole quickly denied and tugged at her gown before standing up. "I'm going back to my room."

"What are you doing?" she seethed. Hadn't he had enough?

Colton snorted lightly, lowered his head, and rubbed the tip of his nose against her flushed face. "Didn't you realize

how red your face is? It looks like a ripe red apple!"

Nicole touched her face in a daze, and sure enough, she could feel the boiling heat.

She coughed lightly in embarrassment and insisted, "Maybe the effect of the drug hasn't subsided yet. Let me go

now. I'm going to wash up and go to bed."

Colton parted his lips and laughed before acting like a brat. "I only act childish with you."



Nicole was speechless at that. She patted off her arm in disgust and blurted, "Don't even think you can touch me

just because I like you!"

Nicole didn't know what was wrong with herself. Although she liked him, she couldn't be too intimate with him. It

was as if her rationality would disappear once they were intimate. Perhaps, the incident that happened five years

ago had traumatized her.

Colton caught the keyword in her sentence—she liked him. Unable to hide the joy in his eyes, he teased, "You like

me?"
