Colton's gaze landed on Zachary right after he finished his sentence. They knew each other from their previous

involvement with F&M Apparel, but they only interacted on a very superficial level. There was a slight glint in

Colton's eyes and a faint smile on his face, but his smile didn't reach his eyes. "You should take a seat with us since

you're here. This restaurant has pretty good food," Colton offered.

"Sure." Before Nicole could say anything, Hayden responded with a hasty nod. Colton had been sitting at a table for

four, so the space was rather tight after the four adults took their seats. Nicole sat beside Evelyn while Zachary

took a seat beside Colton. With Hayden around, the spacing was tighter than ever.

simply nodded before giving a curt reply. "I have a lot of other skills, and I'm pretty good in a lot of things. I got

bored of designing, so I figured that I would switch careers for a while."

"That's right," Hayden added after Nicole finished talking. "Mommy's really impressive. Daddy and Mr. Yates are

really good, too, of course." Colton let out a chuckle, and Evelyn noticed a tender and loving look in his eyes that

she had never seen in the past. She gritted her teeth as she felt a surge of jealousy arising in her. If Nicole hadn't

given birth to an illegitimate child like Hayden, maybe Colton would've already gotten over her. I'm sure he's only

holding onto her because she gave birth to his child. If Hayden's gone, I bet Colton will eventually forget about
