Chapter 930

When Colton came into the massage room, he noticed that the woman in the bathtub had her eyes closed with her

head tilted as she slept soundly.

He had been waiting in the bedroom for about 30 minutes, and she didn't come out, so he only decided to come in

to check on her. It turned out that she had fallen asleep.

Luckily, the bathtub had a self-heating function to keep the water warm enough to not let Nicole catch a cold.

"W-What... I…" She could only sputter incoherent words as she flushed red.

Colton continued to walk calmly, and he only spoke after he had brought her to her room.

"You fell asleep in the bath."

Nicole immediately pulled the blanket beside her over and covered her body with it. She had turned red in her ears

from embarrassment as she tightly grabbed the hem of the blanket with both hands.

He took me out of the bathtub, so means that he saw me in all my naked glory!

"Couldn't you wake me up?" she hissed.

He squinted and smiled softly. "Doesn't matter now. Not like I haven't seen anything anyway."

"Get out!" She didn't want to talk to him anymore.

Seeing her bashfully shrinking under the blanket, Colton couldn't help but chuckle. He then teased her. "Well, yeah,

there is not one part of your body that I haven't seen. What are you getting all shy about?"

Nicole chose to keep quiet and ignore him.

Colton didn't continue to make fun of her. "Dry your hair and sleep." He then left after tossing a towel at her.

She stayed at his house the whole week. Her body recovered quickly, and she practically regained her energy and

mobility by day three. The mark on her neck, however, took its time to disappear. It wasn't completely gone even

after a week had gone by.



She could only quietly curse, Scumbag!

Hayden had been calling her these few days and demanded to know what happened to her. She could only tell him

that she was busy with her work to brush off his questions.

As Nicole had never been away from her son for such a long time, she still felt worried even though she knew that

Anna was taking care of him.

On the other hand, Colton was as free as he could be. Nicole hadn't seen him get busy with anything.

She used to think that he would be occupied with important matters as the president of Gardner Corporation, but

she now realized how painfully idle he was.

His morning routine consisted of him working out, jogging, taking a shower, and finally, drinking milk.

He would then have his breakfast before he dealt with some documents. And after lunch, he would either continue

to handle more documents or tease her. After dinner, he would rest and relax.

His daily routine was like a student's.

After putting up with life here for another three days, the mark finally disappeared, and Nicole eagerly packed up

her things and made her escape.

Colton didn't stop her as he let her go.

The first place Nicole went to after she left was Gardner Residence to take Hayden home with her.
