Chen Zhao made a compromise with the agent. Chen Zhao would pay for a portion while the insurance would pay for the rest. Ten thousand dollars wasn’t much for him, but he still couldn’t vent out his anger.
“Haha…Chen, I heard your house got set on fire. Wanna come stay in my motel for a bit?”
“F*ck off! I’d rather die than live there again.”
Only Ethan would talk to Chen Zhao in such an annoying way. There was no other person.
He had to go out and find a house now. Since he had to rent one, he could at least get a bigger one.
At the moment, he was at the real estate agency, communicating with the customer service. Just then, he got a call from Zola. “Chen, I heard that your house was set on fire?”
“Even you know?” Chen Zhao was surprised.
“You need to find a place to stay, right?”
“I found one already,” Chen Zhao answered.
Actually, Chen Zhao wanted to put space between him and Zola. It wasn’t that she was a bad person, but that it was about morals. He couldn’t be dating Fali while getting with other women.
Chen Zhao didn’t think he was the type that could have multiple women.
When he was single, he could let loose and accept anyone who was interested. Since he’d decided to have a stable relationship, he had to maintain it seriously.
“Chen, do you know that your real estate agent’s company is under Manny’s name and I’m in charge temporarily?”
“Uh…” Chen Zhao froze. “Don’t tell me that I’m in your security footage right now.”
“No, but your information is in the database in front of me right now.”
“Alright.” Chen Zhao knew he couldn’t reject her.
“How about that mountain villa you and Daniel lived in before?”
“How much is rent?”
“Up to you.”
Chen Zhao thought for a moment and said, “I lost half a bottle of wine during the fire. The pyro stole it. If found, it’ll be beneficial to you or your father.”
“Thank you.”
“But you’re not the only one who knows this.”
“I’m quite healthy,” Zola said. “I don’t really need health benefits.”
“Trust me, you won’t be able to reject the effects.”
“What are the effects?”
“I’ll just say this much. Oh right, when can my girlfriend and I move in?”
“I already had someone go clean it up,” Zola said. “You can move in tonight. Are you sure you won’t tell me the exact benefits of the wine?”

Chen Zhao drove to Angel Beach. As soon as he parked, White Ma and Black Ma rushed out. These two opened the door themselves. As soon as they got off, a bunch of fangirls and fanboys swarmed over.
They were honestly popular at Angel Beach. Chen Zhao didn’t understand.
Just then, a female lifeguard saw him. “Hi, Chen.”
“Hi, Phero.” To be honest, Chen Zhao wasn’t familiar with her.
“Are you here for Fali?”
“Yes.”
“Your car is so big. This is the kind of car for men.”

“I wonder what it feels like to sit in such a big car.”
Chen Zhao was spaced out. He was thinking about how to tell Fali that her clothes and shoes had all exploded.
“Chen, can I try out your car?”
“Huh?” He finally realized that this girl wanted to have sex in his car. “Sorry, I’m busy. How about next time?”
“Sure. I’ll take you to Fali.” Phero acted like nothing had happened.
After reaching the office, Phero said from the doorway, “Fali, Chen’s here for you.”
Fali turned around. “Chen, how come you’re here?”
“Fali, we haven’t gone shopping together, right?”
“You’re inviting me to go shopping?”
“I guess.”
“I’m working now though.”
“I’ll tell Robio.”
“We have a lot of tourists today. I don’t think he’ll agree.”
“You wait here.”
Chen Zhao walked into Robio’s office. He already saw through the glass that Chen Zhao had come.
“Chen, how come you’re free to come here today?”
“Someone set my house on fire, including Fali’s clothes and everyday items. I hope you can give her half a day’s leave.”
“Leave Walter, Black Ma, and White Ma and I’ll let Fali go.”
“Sure. I’ll come to get them at night.”
“Okay, no problem.”

Fali looked at Chen Zhao holding all the bags that he’d bought for her. She was suspicious. Why would Chen Zhao voluntarily go shopping with her?
