Chapter 35

Adam drove into the underground garage of New York's largest and most luxurious shopping mall.Just
as the car was parked, a slender and soft figure rushed over and threw herself into Adam's arms.

"Adam, you came so fast!"

Adam hugged Linda, smiling so gently.He kissed her forehead, her red lips, and asked her softly, "How
long have you been waiting?"

Linda was in his arms, her hands around his neck, her head up, smiling like an innocent little girl.

"Not very long, I just arrived."

"Then let's go."

As he spoke, Adam held Linda's hand and was about to leave.He didn't seem to remember that
Rebecca was still in the car.

"Adam, wait a minute.’’ Linda, on the other hand, was still thinking about Rebecca.

She pulled Adam to a stop, then looked at Rebecca and asked with a smile, "Rebecca, come with us.

Just buy another ticket.’ "Couples only.There's no extra ticket.’’

Looking at Linda, Adam explained with a smile.

"Well, why don't you buy a ticket for another movie for Rebecca? After that, the three of us can go to
dinner together.Otherwise, it's too late for you to go home."

Looking at Adam, Linda frowned and hesitated.

"Have you forgotten it? I had no appetite when I saw her."



"Adam, what did Rebecca do to you to make you so mean to her?"

"Am I mean?"

"Yes, you are.”

"It's okay.Then I am mean."

"Adam!"

Rebecca was standing on the other side of the car, in the passenger seat, just like that, quietly looking
at the two of them.

They were talking to each other, and she didn't say a word, just slightly smiling.

Then, when she smiled, Adam's eyes swept over without warning.

He was gentle, but when he saw the smile on her face, Suddenly, he turned cold.

"Okay, let's go."

But the next second, he pulled Linda away at a fast speed.

Only God knew how angry he was and how much he wanted to rush over, grabbed Rebecca's neck,
and asked,”Rebecca, what the hell are you laughing at?"

Rebecca would never tell the truth because she must be thinking, "Look at these two idiots!"

Since she was here, Rebecca thought that she might have a haircut.

Her hair was not long and had just reached her shoulders, but washing and blowing her hair now was a
waste of time for her.



So, she cut her hair short.

She now looked capable and refreshing.

When she walked into the barbershop and sat down, the coquettish barber asked her, "Sweetheart,
how do you like it to be cut?"

Rebecca said, "Cut it short."

In the end, after the cut, the effect was so good that Rebecca was quite dissatisfied.

What if Adam and Linda both felt that she had changed into such a good hairstyle to seduce Adam?
"What's wrong, sweetheart? Are you dissatisfied?"

The coquettish barber looked at Rebecca's frown in the mirror, and he began to doubt his skills.

Rebecca nodded.

"Well, I'm not satisfied.Can you get my hair extensions?"

The barber was speechless.

In the end, he decided to charge Rebecca for nothing, saying that it was not impossible to do so.It was
too troublesome.

He asked her to just make do with it! But Rebecca never took advantage of anyone, so she left after
paying, which made the hairstylist very confused and sad.

After leaving the salon, Rebecca walked straight to the bus stop without hesitation.

Was she going to stay and wait for Adam to take her back?



"Don't be silly, Rebecca!" She told herself.

Because Adam would never, ever! Adam and Linda finished watching the movie and went to dinner.

However, for some reason, Adam didn't want the media to take pictures of him and Linda together, so
when he and Linda appeared in public, he always wore a cap and sunglasses.

By the time the two of them finished eating, it was almost nine oclock in the evening.

Coming out of the restaurant, Linda took Adam's hand and entered the elevator.

As if she suddenly thought of something, she looked at Adam and said, "Where is Rebecca now? Let's
call her to come back with us!"

Adam looked at Linda through his sunglasses and frowned without saying anything.Then, Linda took
out her phone and called Rebecca.

However, Rebecca didn't answer the phone because she didn't hear it.

"Why didn't she answer my phone call? Is she still angry with us?"

Rebecca didn't answer the phone, so Linda asked Adam.

"Don't worry about her.We can go back by ourselves."

"Adam..."

"Let's go!"

As he spoke, Adam had already pulled Linda out of the elevator, strode to his black Land Rover,
opened the door, and got into the driver's seat.



Linda saw this and quickly got into the passenger seat.

Then, Adam started the car directly, left the mall, and drove to Skyline No.1.

When they returned to Skyline No.1, it was almost 10 pm.

He pushed open the door of the apartment.

Except for the light pouring in from the window, the room was dark with no light on.

"Where's Rebecca? Why hasn't she come back yet?"

Linda entered the room, turned on the lights, and spoke with concern.Adam changed his shoes and
didn't say a word.He just walked towards the stairs.

"Adam!" Linda grabbed him.

"Well, what's wrong?"

Adam looked at her with a gentle gaze.Linda held his arm.

"Don't you like me mentioning Rebecca?"

"Well, I don't like it" Adam nodded without hesitation.

"She shouldn't be there." Linda looked at Adam and immediately smiled.

She stepped over and kissed him on the lips.

"Well, I know.Since you don't like it, I'll try not to mention her in front of you.I'll find her myself if I need
anything."

"Okay."
