Chapter 54

"Sir, I'll go first.I'll wait for you at your hotel tomorrow morning!"

After taking her suitcase, Rebecca looked at Samuel with a smile.

Samuel had long sensed that there was something between Adam and Rebecca, but he did not expect
that Adam could not hold back.

So after a short while, he came to his senses.

Without asking her too much, he nodded.

"Okay, I'll send you some information when I get to the hotel.Take a good look at it tonight.It's better to
write it down."

"Okay." Rebecca agreed.

Then she rolled her suitcase towards Adam with her head down.

"Are you stupid? Help!"

Adam scolded in a low voice, seeing that his assistant stood there with no intention of helping
Rebecca.

"Yes, Mr.Williams.' The assistant reacted and quickly took the suitcase from Rebecca's hand and put it
in the trunk.

"Get in the car!"

Adam stared at Rebecca and ordered in a deep voice.

Rebecca stopped in front of him and looked up at him emotionlessly.



After a glance, she got into the car.

Then, Adam came over and leaned over to get in the car.

Then the driver quickly closed the door and went around to the driver's seat.

He got in the car, and the assistant got into the passenger's seat.

Soon, the car drove out.

"Professor Talty, do you know the relationship between Rebecca and Adam?"

After the car drove far away, Justin asked.

Samuel said, shaking his head, "I don't understand your young people's world! But Rebecca is a good
girl.If you like her, you should put in some effort to win her favor.'

As he spoke, Samuel patted Justin on the shoulder.

Justin frowned, glanced at the black Mercedes that was about to disappear, and nodded vigorously.

On the black Mercedes, Rebecca leaned against the window and looked out.

Although it was her first time in New Orleans, a famous city, she was not in the mood to enjoy the
scenery outside the window at this moment.

Sitting by Adam's side, she could feel the low pressure emanating from him without looking at him.

In the car, when Rebecca was a little out of breath, Adam's low and deep voice finally sounded beside
her.

Originally, what Adam wanted to ask was, Rebecca, do you take me as your husband? However, as

At first, she married into the Williams Family because of Alice's greed and because the Williams Family
needed her blood, and she had to compromise.

Now in the Williams Family, Arthur just tried to use her as a pawn to make Adam give up on Linda.

Once Adam and Linda broke up, it was unknown what her fate would be.

What's more, Adam loved Linda so much, so as a pawn, she didn't seem to be helpful.

She really had egg on her face being with them! But she liked Adam, so she was willing to be
humiliated.

However, if the humiliation was endless, she might slowly let him go.

Looking at Rebecca who was so calm, Adam gritted his teeth in hatred, nodded, and laughed
scornfully.

He said, word by word, "Okay, I'll wait for your news."

Rebecca didn't know which hotel Adam was taking her to, but more than half an hour later, the car
drove into the West Lake scenic area.

West Lake had been appearing in textbooks ever since she was a child, and it was not until now that
she had the honor to see it.



Therefore, Rebecca's eyes were fixed on the outside of the window.

She was enchanted by it and couldn't move her eyes away.

Adam who sat next to her with his eyes on the documents in his hand followed her gaze and looked

"You like it here?"

Rebecca suddenly turn around and look at Adam in confusion.

Adam looked at her with a smile, neither gentle nor cold.

He simply smiled and asked, "Do you like this place very much?"

Rebecca didn't know why he was so friendly to her all of a sudden, but she nodded honestly.

"Yes, I like it very much."

Adam nodded slightly and said nothing more.

He looked at her, his eyes devoid of emotion.

Their eyes met each others.

Rebecca didn't know what he wanted to do, so she turned her head away and looked out the window.
