"Boss, it is not the first time. Why are you getting angry about this?" One of the workers asked.
"Because someone reported the situation to the higher-ups." The supervisor shouted again.
The workers now confirmed that the one who reported them was the woman who had beaten their colleagues. They were trembling. "On top of that, you dare to harass someone. The people who used this road mostly worked at the YQ Greenhouse over there. Their higher-ups care a lot of their employees." The supervisor added.
The workers were silent. They seriously did not expect this matter would be this big. The supervisor looked at them. He calculated the workers.
"You should be 10 people. Where are the other two?" The supervisor asked.
"They are at the hospital." The worker answered.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier that they were sick?" The supervisor gritted his teeth again feeling angry.
"No, boss. They are not sick." The worker said. Others shook their heads.
"Not sick. Then why the hell are they in the hospital?" The supervisor shouted.
"They were injured." The worker answered.
"Injured? How is this happening?" The supervisor began to panic.
When the injury that required people to go to the hospital to get their hospital occurred at the workplace, it would have a lot of troubles. They would need to investigate the cause and the supervisor would be called to answer the question. It was a lot of hassles.
"Well..." The worker hesitated to answer the question.
"Just speak it." The supervisor yelped again. "They had been beaten up by the woman that we tried to harass." The worker opened his mouth telling the truth. The supervisor was speechless. Beaten up by the woman that they tried to harass? Are they serious? "Are you telling the truth?" The supervisor asked again.
"Yes." The worker nodded.
Others looked ashamed. They would not even fight a woman. However, they were relieved that they were managed to escape without injury except for those two people who currently laid down on the hospital bed. "That is not my responsibility. Right now, the higher-ups are furious about the matter you are slacking off. Even I can not help you. You just need to wait for any further notice." The supervisor said.
"Boss, can you put good words to the higher-ups for them?" One of the workers begged.
One started to beg and another one followed.
"Boss, please help us."
"Boss, I really need this work." "I have a wife and children. If I get fired from this job, how can we survive?"
"Boss, please help us." They were begging the supervisor to help them. Neither did they know that the supervisor also had the chance to lose his job. Well, that was because his fault as well. He was supposed to come to work and supervise the workers to get the job done by schedule but instead of doing so, he went to drink with his friend in the middle of work time. If he tried to put the good work for these workers, the higher-ups might be turned around and investigate him too. He did not want that. What the supervisor did not know was that the higher-ups already started their investigation. The supervisor was included. He probably would get fired together with the workers when the higher-ups finished the investigation.
The supervisor started to feel dizzy when the workers constantly begged her to help them.
"Shut up!" The supervisor said. "If you are doing your work, you will be just fine. But... I don't know what higher-ups will do with you guys." The workers felt instantly regret. They were happy getting to work in such a long period. Meaning they could get a stable income. The pay was also higher than their last job. If they lost these jobs, they would need to find a new job.
If only they did not harass that woman... ...
Yu Qi did not know the workers' story. Even if she knew about that, she would not feel anything. That was their consequence for daring to harass her. If they harassed another woman who was weaker than them, that woman probably did not have a good ending. Well, someone probably had become their victim. Yu Qi finally got out of the onsen feeling refreshed. Her body was feeling hot in a good way. She was hungry. She then went to the restaurant. When she was heading to the restaurant, Yu Qi encountered Chui Mei Fung. "Miss Yu Qi." Chui Mei Fung greeted Yu Qi.
Chui Mei Fung was totally changed now. She used to be weak but now, she is a strong and independent woman. "Sister Chui." Yu Qi smiled.
"What are you doing here?" Chui Mei Fung asked. He did not expect that Yu Qi would come and stay for a night. She just knew when the receptionist excitedly informed her about Yu Qi's stay.
"I have something to do at the greenhouse. So, I decided to come here to take a look." Yu Qi said.
"I see." Chui Mei Fung nodded. She smiled teasingly. "Where is your fiance? Usually, if you are here, he will also tag along."
"He is busy. You know what his job is." Yu Qi coughed to cover her embarrassment. Long Hui was away on another mission. Otherwise, as Chui Mei Fung said, Long Hui probably would tag along, coming with her. Chui Mei Fung laughed.
