Yu Qi sensed several kids on that floor. They were scattered around on the floor. There were around 5 kids on that floor. Long Hui also sensed that. "Brother Hui..." Yu Qi looked at Long Hui.
Long Hui nodded.
"What should we do?" Yu Qi glanced at the security man. "At a time like this, we can use your contracted beast's ability." Long Hui stated.
"Yes... I forget about that." Yu Qi slapped her forehead.
She then pulled Long Hui to hide from others and applied the ability. They disappeared right away. They walked away passed the security man and walked up to the ninth floor.
The security man heard the sound of the steps but when he looked at the stairs, he could not see anyone else. He thought it was probably his feeling. Only several people still rushed to the emergency stairs to evacuate. The parents who were crying for their children were being pulled by the others to exit the floor after being convinced by others that their children were probably already evacuated as well. They arrived at the ninth floor. The fire was spread around the ninth floor. Yu Qi disabled the ability. "Let's use water as the shield." Long Hui suggested. Both of them used the water to cover their body. Since the kids were all over the floor, they thought it would be best if they acted separately. So, they separated and went to get kids.
Yu Qi used her senses to go and save the kids. She easily found one. She could see that this kid already lost consciousness due to a lack of oxygen. She did not have time to waste. She lifted the kid and searched for another one. In less than two minutes, she found another kid under the counter table who had also lost consciousness. Yu Qi also used water to make the kids' clothes wet so that they did not easily catch the fire. Yu Qi made the decision to go downstairs first without thinking to wait for Long Hui. She knew that Long Hui would be safe. The problem right now was the emergency stairs that they used to come up had been blocked by the fire. Yu Qi was in a pinch right now. She scanned the floor again to find another exit path. She found one. It was located on the other side of the floor. But it had been blocked as well. The fire became more and more bigger. In the far, she could see that Long Hui was also rushing over with two kids in his hands.
"Are the kids okay?" Yu Qi asked. "Yes, they just lost their consciousness because of lack of oxygen." Long Hui stated. He glanced at the emergency stairs which had been blocked by the fire. The place where they stood was safe because Yu Qi made a barrier.
"There is another emergency stair but it is also being blocked by the fire." Yu Qi stated.
"It seems you have another plan." Long Hui looked at Yu Qi's face.
"Yeah. I am thinking of running past the fire after putting the kids inside my space." Yu Qi said.
"Is it okay to do so?" Long Hui was worried about the secret of the space being leaked.
"Hmm... I will tap their sleep acupoint. That way, they would not wake up if we did not tap the acupoint back." Yu Qi said.
"If that is the plan, it is okay, then." Long Hui also agreed with the suggestion.
So, Yu Qi brought all of the children into her space after their sleeping acupoint was tapped by Yu Qi. Her contracted beasts looked at the sleeping children. "Master, who are they?" Aoi asked.
"I don't have time for that. I will explain that later. You need to take care of these children for a minute." Yu Qi said.
"Sure, Master." Bo Ya nodded.
Bo Ya know what happened out the space. Yu Qi exited the space. "Brother Hui, let's go." Yu Qi said. Both of them used their cultivation power to protect their body from the fire. They ran past the fire. After they arrived at the seventh floor, she heard some footsteps.
"Someone is here. I will go inside my space and take the kids from the space." Once Yu Qi finished saying that, she disappeared and appeared back with the four kids. Yu Qi gave two of them to Long Hui. They ran toward the people. The people saw Yu Qi and Long Hui and the four kids rushed to their side.
"Are you okay?" One of the people asked.
"Yes. We are okay. Please take a look at these children. We found them unconscious." Yu Qi said.
"Okay... But we need to evacuate this shopping mall first. The paramedics are already here." The people said. "Yes." Yu Qi nodded.
Someone took one of the children from Yu Qi's burden. "Do you see anyone else on the other floors?" Someone asked while they were running.
"No." Yu Qi shook her head. They were finally on the first floor and headed toward the entrance. The people were gathering outside the shopping mall with the paramedics and the firefighters. The firefighters were working on putting out the fire. The paramedics rushed over to take care of the unconscious children. "Doctor Yu Qi?" The paramedics were surprised to see Yu Qi at the incident.
"Yes... Take care of the children." Yu Qi said.
