Chapter 28: I am ready

I was still standing with my back against Darius’s chest, he said that he liked to see me naked. Why
would he just say it like that when I had just gone through my first shift. Sure it was nice to hear him say
that he liked my naked body? To me, it did not feel like the perfect time. I decided to play along to see
what more amazing words he has for me.

"So you like to see my naked body?" I asked him in a teasing tone.

"Of course I like your naked body. You are my mate and I love everything about you and your body." He
answered me back as he went back to kissing my neck.

Right now I’m happy that I was standing with my back against him so he would not see my facial
expression, I just need to see what he will answer back.

"Now you have seen my naked body, what would you like to do with it?"

"Do you really need to ask that question love? You know what I would love to do with you."

"I know but I want you to say it again." I said back to him. If he wasn’t going to tell me I would tease him
so badly that he would tell me.

I slowly started to move my ass against his lower part. I could feel how he was reacting to my
movements and leaned my head back against his chest to look up into his eyes, they had turned black
with lust.

"Aleera." He said in a shaky voice.

I did not answer him, I just continued to rub myself against him.



"Darling, what are you doing?"

"You know what I am doing." I said to him as I leaned my head to the left so he had more access to my
neck. I heard him growl once and then he stepped away from me, I turned around to see him struggling
to control himself. After standing with my back against him for so long it felt so cold now without him
there.

I needed to get the warmth back, so I took one step closer to him and then another. With four steps I
was standing right in front of him, he was still struggling to keep his lust for me at bay. I placed my
hands on his bare chest and as soon my hands touched his chest his eyes grew wide. I thought it was
my touch but when I followed where his eyes were looking I noticed that my whole body was exposed
as his jacked had pulled apart when I reached my hands up to his chest.

As I grabbed the holster to close the jacket I felt his hands on mine and a growl came from his throat.

“Don’t close the jacket, I like what I’m seeing.” He said in a husky voice while he pulled me closer to
him so the little space we did have between us disappeared. My bare breast was against his chest and
his hands were at my lower back holding me so I could not move or leave.

He placed his face by my neck smelling my scent. As he was breathing out I could feel his hot breath
on my skin. The feeling I got when his hot breath was dancing around on my skin was just amazing. He
placed his lips on my neck and left kisses on my skin, I moved my head once again to give him access
to my neck. I moaned out, I was not able to hold it in, I felt hot as he was kissing and nibbling on the
spot where he would mark me one day. I closed my eyes to enjoy the feeling he was giving me.

When he was done with my neck he moved his lips to mine and our lips were moving in sync. I moved
my hands from his chest and moved them slowly up and back around his neck.

I felt his tongue lick the bottom of my lip asking for permission to enter, I gladly separated my lips so he
could enter as he deepened the kiss. After a while, he was the one to break the kiss so both of us



would have a chance to get some air. I have to be honest, now that I have shifted for the first time
being close to him and feeling him or anything that has to do with him feels more exciting to
experience, now I only want more. It feels like my body is telling me that I am ready and that I want
him.

"Darius.” But he cut me off before I was able to finish what I was about to tell him.

“I know, I am sorry. I will wait until you are ready.” He said.

I shook my head no and pulled him in for another kiss and this time it was me that was deepening the
kiss.

He broke the kiss once again. "I won't be able to stop myself if you continue."

I did not say anything back, I just leaned in for another kiss. I left his lips and went down to his neck,
breathing out hot air while leaving kisses on his marking spot and he was now moaning out. I did not
want to stop by telling him in words so I just opened our private mind link to tell him.

'I don't want you to stop.' And I did really mean it this time.

I want to go all the way even if I am not a hundred percent ready yet, but after that first shift my feelings
for him have changed and I feel closer to him. He makes my body feel amazing and it's hard to move
away from him. I want to be with him, looking at me, kissing me, and holding me. I have never felt
special but he makes me feel like that, it's new and scary but amazing.

He must have heard me in the mind link because he pulled away to answer back. “Do you know what
you are asking me? There is no turning back afterward.”

“Yes, I know." I said back and kissed the spot on his neck again.



"Darling, you need to be a hundred percent sure that you are ready, I will not be able to stop if I start. I
have been dreaming of this moment since I first saw you."

“Just take me already will you.” I rolled my eyes at him.

Those were the only words he needed to hear from my lips before he grabbed my legs and lifted me up
onto his hips and wrapped my legs around his waist. He placed his lips on mine and walked over to the
glass door that led to my room. His lips never left mine as he placed me on top of my bed and hovered
over me with his arms on each side of my head to support his body weight. While his lips never left
mine.
