Chapter 38: Sixteenth birthday Kristian

I lit the candles around the room and checked the flowers and all the gifts I had bought for her, some I
made myself.

There were a total of sixteen of them for her sixteenth birthday.

I knew she had been busy with her mother and my brother for the entire day, celebrating her birthday
with them.

I had sent them all to a carnival that was being held in the village nearby so Elsa could enjoy her day
with the people that mattered to her.

She wanted me too to be there with her, but I couldn't.

Our ages made it difficult to be seen together in public unless someone recognised the untamed
emotions we felt for each other.

I had tried to keep my distance, I had fûcking tried.

But she was relentless in her pursuit and when I saw those fat tears in her big blue eyes I couldn't hold
back anymore.

And now it had been more than a month now, and Elsa had been nothing but persistent to chip away at
the last of my walls.

It was so fucking hard to keep my hands off her when she would lie down beside me and deliberately
let her hands roam around my body like it was a playground or a map she wanted to see and measure.

1 The only thing I had allowed myself to have was to kiss her.

And that too I refrained from doing too much or else I would lose myself in her.



She tasted so fucking sweet.

Like innocence and sin and my downfall.

I knew no matter how much I kept my control I was playing with fire but still I couldn't not follow her
siren call.

And it wasn't just her beauty and the forbidden factor, no, my little girl might be just sixteen but she had
an old soul.

She understood me more than anyone could.

She listens to me.

She knows it when my silences needs to be filled.

She knows when my darkness needs to be brightened by her lights.

She understands how much she meant to me.

There was only one person who had understood me like that, my Dad, who died in a car accident when
I was just ten.

Or maybe someone killed him.

My mother was so grief stricken she didn't pay any attention to her only son but more on how to numb
her pain and the closest shoulder she could lean on which happened to be my uncle's.

2 The door opened before I could slip into my dark thoughts and Elsa stepped inside, bringing
everything that was light with her.



She froze at the entrance, her eyes darting around the room, reflecting the candle lights and then with
an excited squeal she ran straight for me.

I opened my arms and caught her in a tight embrace.

I laughed as my balance shifted from the force of our collision and I whispered, "Happy Birthday, my
little girl."

"Thank you, Kristian."

She clasped my face between her hands and kissed me hungrily.

She was always hungry for me and I wished for the day when I could reciprocate with the same hunger
without holding back.

"Oh my god, I knew you were planning something.

But this looks so beautiful."

Her blue eyes shimmered as she saw the bouquets of red roses and all the gifts and the two stuffed
bears that weren't wrapped.

3 *This is nothing, you will be surprised what I can do once you turn eighteen."

I said, caressing her sun kissed hair.

She must've sensed the hidden intent behind my words as she asked, "What would you do, Kristian?"

"You'll see." I murmured, kissing her cheek and brushing another soft kiss behind her ear.

She breathed softly, her fingers going into my hair as she demanded, "I want to know now."



"Little girl…"

I began.

She cut me off.

"Please, Kristian, it's my birthday!"

I cupped her beautiful face in my hands and said, "You know how much I care about you, don't you?"

She nodded, biting down on her soft plump bottom lip.

"Then, why do you ask me something that could put us both at risk?"

She shook her head.

"I don't understand how you could not want to…"

She trailed off, her hand waving between us.

"Don't boys always want it? Maybe you do not want me… You are just amusing yourself with me."

1 I grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to me until every inch of my body was pressed to hers.

I looked down at her and said, "You think I don't want you when I have been fighting myself each and
every second to keep my hands off you.

When your fucking scent drives me crazy and all I want to do is to lick and kiss and caress every inch
of your beautiful body."

With every word out of my mouth her eyes widened further and further, telling me how innocent she
was like I could ever forget.



She whimpered and threw her arms around me for the second time.

The kiss that we shared was explosive with need and lust and the affection I felt for her but more
importantly it was her love that made me ravenous.

I gripped the back of her neck as I kissed her, sucked on her tongue and then bit down on her lips.

She moaned into my mouth and lifted up on her toes.

I slipped my hand under her arse, lifting her off the floor and pressing her against my hard côck.

It was her next breathy words that tore through my lust fogged brain.

"Make love to me, Kristian."

Slowly, carefully I slid her down and waited for her to gain her footing before I stepped back.

Raking my fingers through my hair, I said, "I can't.

We can't, Elsa."

For a moment I thought she was going to fight with me and I was prepared for it or maybe I was
halfway into giving in but we would never know as she turned around and said, "Fine.

I understand.

Now, shall we cut my birthday cake?"

I stood there looking at her because I couldn't believe she was giving in so easily, in the past she
hadn't.



And I knew Elsa… She would never accept defeat, she was like a dog with a bone until she had
exhausted all her options.

But what else could I say when for the first time she was taking the right decision.
