Lu Xinyi woke up the next day a bit sore but in a good way. It was already afternoon when she decided to slip out of their bed, took a shower, and met her husband in his study. She found him, sitting in front of his desk and working on the documents Qiao He brought from Shen Group.
With her staying at home, Shen Yi decided to work at home to accompany her during her two-week break from the academy.
“Are you busy? I’m going out,” she said as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed his cheek.
Shen Yi made a ‘hn’ sound, acknowledging her presence. He liked how she smelled. Her scent was always enough to comfort him.
“Going out as Lu Feiran again?” he raised a brow on her.
“Yep,” Lu Xinyi confirmed. She ran a finger under his chin seductively, making Shen Yi forced to stare up at her.
“This Lu Feiran needs a bodyguard.” The memory of how Shen Yi beat those men back at Club Fantasia was enough to make her want a repeat of what they did last night. “Or you can be Lu Feiran’s lover, President Shen,” she teased.
Shen Yi narrowed his eyes at her, but his eyes took in the hickeys he’d left on her collarbone and was pleased with the sight.
“Give me half an hour to finish my work, and we’ll go together.”
Ah, how could he say no to his wife?! At least she wasn’t ignoring him for food again!
Half an hour later, Shen Yi came down with his usual disguise and found Lu Feiran sitting on their couch, playing with the white tiger that seemed to grow into an adult overnight. He was sure that when Xiao Bai arrived at their home, he wasn’t as huge as he was now.

Shen Yi gave her a pointed look. He really found it irritating whenever Lu Xinyi turned into Lu Feiran. As a woman, it was already hard enough to keep her attention on him. Food and his annoying family were keeping Lu Xinyi away from him.
As Lu Feiran, she got nothing but women staring at her with heart in their eyes. How could he stay calm when those women start to flirt with Lu Feiran, only for the latter to flirt back?
They arrived at Yuan Jin’s studio whose owner let out a whistle when he spotted the couple. This wasn’t the first time he’d seen Lu Xinyi crossdress as a man. In truth, he was the one responsible for making her Lu Feiran identity.
“Bro Fei! How are you? I haven’t seen you for a long time!” Yuan Jin walked over them and hooked an arm around Lu Feiran’s shoulder, leaving Shen Yi irritated at the door.
“Have you started yet?” Lu Feiran asked.
Everyone was busy preparing for the photoshoot. On one side, Wang Zhuyi and Zheng Yue were having their makeup being applied while Yuan Jin’s people were busy adjusting the backdrop and the lighting.
“We’re about to start. You are just in time,” Yuan Jin replied.
Lu Feiran ‘hn’-ned as he tilted his head. He was satisfied with the setup Yuan Jin made for Flair Apparel’s latest campaign.
When Zheng Yue and Wang Zhuyi saw him standing next to Yuan Jin and another handsome man, both women thought the three were so good-looking. If they haven’t known them… good lord, they would have a field day admiring those charming smiles from Lu Feiran.
Zheng Yue took courage and walked towards Lu Feiran with a shy smile.
“Mr. Lu…” she called out.
Lu Feiran put his hand inside the side pocket of his jacket and turned to Zheng Yue.
“Miss Zheng,”—he smiled back—”welcome to Flair Apparel. I’m glad you decided to accept our offer.” Not that he was expecting Zheng Yue to resist the contract after giving her what she was looking for.
Zheng Yue’s face lit up, her smile almost reaching her ears.

“Oh? So you reconciled now with Lady Lang?” Lu Feiran knew that one’s curiosity wouldn’t leave him in peace. He already knew that after giving Zheng Yue what she wanted, she’d need answers to her questions.
