Chapter 45 Snickering In Heart

Sitting on the passenger's seat, Lily secretly observed the expression on Kevin's face through the
rearview mirror and found that there was a faint trace of displeasure on his face. She snickered in her
heart secretly.

Judging from the reaction of the judicial department, it was obvious that this opportunity was privately
given by Kevin, certainly because of her.

However, Kevin still pretended to know nothing about it. Of course she had to seize the chance.

"No, I'll go with you this time." Kevin started the car and ordered, cutting off the last route of retreat for
Lily.

Lily's face stiffened for a moment, and she snorted discontentedly.

Despite her unwillingness, Kevin took bus with them the next day. When they arrived at the destination,
he took Lily's hand and got off the car.

It was really hard for Lily to display of affection in such a high-profile way publicly. When they went to
the room of the hotel, she reminded Kevin in a low voice, "don't you think we're too high-key? There
are many single people in the company. It's better to keep a low profile."

"I don't think so." Kevin had changed his clothes. There was no sign of embarrassment on his cold
face.

This man, probably, did not even know what embarrassment was.

Lily's persuasion didn't work on Kevin, and there was nothing she could do about it. She looked at
Kevin hopelessly and went to the bathroom to change her clothes.



The destination for their trip was a warm island city. After they arrived there, the employees had begun
their own activities.

According to Kevin's concept of traveling, it was just walked around a place, sat on a rock and looked
at the sea.

Lily wanted to join the group activity of the company, but she was afraid that she can't go because of
Kevin.

Bathing in the sunlight made people sleepy. Seeing the crowds floating on the sea, Lily also wanted to
change her swimsuit and go into the sea.

She told Kevin about her thought briefly and was about to go back to room to change her clothes.

However, when she opened the door, she saw a familiar figure.

"Hey, Lily. Long time no see." Lois's lips were slightly raised. She looked at Lily proudly.

"Yes." After making an answer indifferently, Lily opened the door and walked inside directly. She didn't
want to talk to Lois at all.

Unexpectedly, Lois followed behind Lily and slipped into the room.

"Get out!" Lily's face darkened. She stared at Lois coldly. At first, she thought it was just an accident to
run into Lois. She didn't expected that Lois even dared to break in directly.

Lois walked around the room like a queen. Then she nodded with satisfaction and said, "the
environment is pretty good."

"Get out!" Seeing that Lois didn't seem to hear what she said, Lily repeated it.



"Lily, do you still think you are the Cinderella in the fairy tale? Just like you owned the prince and also
the happy life?" There was a mockery on the corner of Lois's mouth, and a faint sense of satisfaction
appeared in her eyes.

"Whatever my life is, it has nothing to do with you, Miss Bai!" Lily opened the door directly. It was
obvious that she wanted Lois to get out.

However, Lois walked up to her and gently closed the door. She said with a gloating smile on her face,
"I didn't want to talk about this matter at first. Because I have heard that you have a good relationship
with Kevin recently."

Lily clenched her teeth and opened the door heavily again. "Lois, can't you hear me?"

"What's the rush?" Sitting directly on the sofa, Lois stared at Lily leisurely and said, "I have something
to tell you. I think you must be interested in it."

After saying that, she looked at Lily quietly.

"What a pity! I'm not interested at all." Lily responded with a snort.

Now she had lost all the good opinion of Lois, who would do anything to get what she wanted.

Lois picked up an orange on the tea table, peeled it slowly, and hinted Lily to close the door by pouting
her lips.

But Lily walked towards her, grabbed the orange from her hands and shouted, "get out! Don't let me
call the security, or you will be disgraced."

Lois shrugged her shoulders indifferently and said, "Okay, okay. I won't touch your things."

"I warn you for the last time!" Lily's patience was almost run out.



"Several days ago, you went to the prison to see your father, didn't you?" Said Lois seriously, sitting up
straight suddenly.

Hearing that, a light flashed across Lily's eyes. With an ironic smile at the corners of her mouth, she
answered, "so what?"

"Not only you, but also your mother and Kevin." The smile on Lois's face was getting deeper.

The expression on Lily's face was frozen. Only a few people knew about this thing. What happened to
Haber had caught too much attention. So, they sneaked into the prison without being noticed.

However... It was undeniable that some paparazzi had taken their picture.

Lois changed to a more comfortable position, sat on the sofa, clicked her tongue and said, "what a pity.
You always think that you have met true love, but in fact, Kevin just wants to use you."

With her hands trembling slightly, Lily said angrily, "what nonsense are you talking about?"

"Guess... What did I hear about something that I shouldn't have knew?" Lois looked like an innocent
girl who knew a secret and was very eager to share the secret with others.

"Not interested!" Lily was suddenly a little hesitated, and the anxiety in her heart grew stronger. She
even took action to pull Lois up and said, "Lois, I won't believe your words."

Lois didn't mind her being pulled up by Lily, however, she looked at her with pitiful eyes and said, "I
thought that I was poor enough to lose control of Kevin, but now you are not only forced to marry your
enemy, but also have no idea that the man who sleeps beside you every day have ruined your family.
What a pity!"

Lois's words stunned Lily. She looked up at Lois and asked, "what did you say?"



She was breathing fast and her look moved slightly.

With a smile, Lois continued in a relaxed tone, "your father was so kind to you. Even in that situation,
he still begged Kevin to take good care of you shamelessly."

"No way!" Lily was totally in confusion. She stared at Lois fiercely and continued, "I don't believe you."

"Your mother wasn't in good health. You must have something to tell your father, but your mother just
fainted. So you accompanied her back to the car," said Lois, looking at Lily as if she was looking at a
fool.
