Chapter 217 An Awkward Situation

It would be fine if she didn't cough. This cough immediately attracted the eyes of Kevin who was
walking in at the door. He found her easily and walked steadily towards her with a gloomy face.

Lily took a quick sip of water and felt that her lungs were about to cough out. She felt better with the
help of water.

While Drew was still patting her back, a cold gaze suddenly came over. When he looked over, Kevin
was already standing in front of them.

Seeing him, Drew's eyes darkened and he frowned, "Why are you here? Are you also invited here?"

Lily felt like she was in a really awkward situation... Who could tell her why Kevin could find her when
her phone was turned off? Was it just a coincidence?

"Come out with me." With a gloomy face, Kevin took hold of Lily's hand and walked outside.

"Wait." Drew stood in front of him unhappily. "Lily is my dancing partner tonight. You can't take her
away."

go out with you."

smile froze at the corners of her mouth.

Kevin strode away with Lily.

Wearing high-heeled shoes, Lily couldn't catch up with Kevin and almost fell down, but Kevin was not
considerate at all.

Looking at their backs, Lois's face darkened.

Kevin pulled her to the deck. The sea breeze was so strong that her hair was flying in the air. The off
the shoulder dress was obviously not warm enough, which made her feel a little cold.

"Go out for business? Your phone is out of power?" Kevin stared at her with his dark eyes. There was a
sneer on the corner of his mouth.



Although Lily felt guilty, she thought about it carefully and found that there was not so much loophole in
her excuse, so she pretended to be calm and said, "I'm coming to the party just for the business, am I
wrong? And my phone is indeed out of power."

She couldn't help but clench her hands to hold her bag tightly. She was a little afraid that Kevin would
grab her bag on the spot and check her phone.

But Kevin didn't do that, because he could tell at a glance that Lily was lying, and this explanation was
too clumsy.

"Do you think you can cheat me? Do you really think I don't know what you are doing?" Looking at her,
Kevin squinted, with a hint of danger in his eyes. "What are you doing with Drew?"

Lily frowned and explained, "I'm not with him. Drew is my friend, and I've said that we have a
cooperation."

"Does he need you to be his dancing partner for the cooperation?" Kevin asked coldly.

"It's my business. It has nothing to do with you." Lily thought that he was too domineering and self-
righteous. She didn't like his domineering behavior and tone. "If you don't have anything else, I'll go in
first."

As she spoke, she was about to leave, but was stopped by Kevin. "Come back!"

"You must stay with me the whole night, or you won't be able to see the child." Seeing that she didn't
care about it at all, Kevin was furious and finally mentioned the child.

Child were the weak point of Lily. As expected, she bit her lips and looked up at Kevin with anger.

"Think it over." Kevin said coldly.



"Do I have any other choice?" Lily said angrily. She hadn't seen the child for so many years and was
very worried about him. How could she give up the opportunity to see him?

"You are sensible." With a snort, Kevin stretched out his arms and ordered, "take my hand."

Reluctantly, Lily tightened her lips. Finally, she held Kevin's arm and entered the banquet hall with him
again.

It was already eight o'clock. The cruise ship started. The lights on the shore were getting farther and
farther away, and there was a thick layer of night, just like the stars in the sky, shining faintly.

With the bodyguards around him, Tyron got on the ship. He was in a black suit, and his hair was
meticulously combed. He was tall and slender, and he looked a little old. There were wrinkles on his
face, but his eyes were bright and powerful, which exuded a strong aura from inside out, which could
not be ignored.

The people on the deck caused a little sensation because of his arrival.

Lily also looked at him. She didn't expect that Tyron, a giant raw material businessman in J Country,
was an old man about sixty years old. However, no matter in his appearance or figure, he didn't look
old at all.

Seeing that she had been staring at Tyron, Kevin frowned and asked, "are you here for him?"

Without any hesitation, Lily nodded and said, "if we can get in touch with him, it will benefit our
company a lot."

dark industries under his command." Kevin cast a sidelong glance at her and warned her.



"Really? What does it have to do with me? I just want to do the raw materials business with him." Lily
didn't care about other industries of Tyron at all. She only cared about what was good for her.
