"Slowly.Are you hungry? Would you like to eat anything? How about garlic bread and mushroom soup?
I’ll get someone to bring them."



Propping up the pillows, she helped Margaret sit up and turned to call a housekeeper when the older
woman held her hand.

"Lily, wait."

Lily stopped and turned around to look at her.

"How long have I slept?"

"Two days..."
