companions had already entered the garden.

She then gently lifted the woman’s chin with the dagger.

Feeling the slight stinging sensation on her chin, Samantha was so terrified that she dared not breathe,
her pupils trembling helplessly.

Finally, she softened her tone.

“Gwendolyn, it had nothing to do with me, really.
