Nico listened attentively, thinking that Cedrick’s analysis sounded valid.

“I understand,” replied Lucas, lowering his head and regaining a calm expression. He stopped
speaking.

subjecting him to such torment, Craig was still his brother. The Newton family had also thrived under
Craig’s leadership.

Lucas couldn’t bring himself to accuse Craig.
