A shiver ran down her spine as Alyssa was shocked for a several seconds before she found words to
communicate. “Hello, Sir…”

When the car disappeared in the forest, the curtains on the second floor of the villa were pulled open

Frank looked at the car and then asked Emmett, “Boss, are you really going to let Madam see Mr.
Lawrence just like that?”

“What else can I do?” Emmett’s voice was deep and sullen. He put his hands into the pocket and said,
“She’s just a silly and dumb ugly woman. Even if they met, what can George do to her?”

“But Madam is just pretending!”

“And that’s exactly her talent.”

Alyssa glanced at her old and yellowish clothes and her heart couldn’t help but twitch. Perhaps this
wasn’t the best way she should introduce herself to her father-in-law.

Owen escorted her to the private room. He invited her to enter the room. “Mr. Lawrence is waiting for
you inside.”

“Okay.” Alyssa smiled. “Thanks Mr. Owen.”

Owen saw her going into the room, and closed the door. He thought about something and gently shook
his head.

At the table, the elegant and commanding middle-aged man was flipping through the menu. Although
he had some wrinkles on his face, he still looked very graceful.

When he heard some movements, he placed the menu and looked up.

Alyssa looked at the man in front of her carefully. It was George Lawrence! The famous business
tycoon of Holsten City.

She originally thought that looking at her face and simpleton dressing, the man would definitely scoff
and turn-away his head in disgust, as everyone did at the slight of her.
