It was obvious that Alyssa was mocking the reporter for her shameless act of asking people their sex
life in public.

The reporters who asked the question understood it too.

Almost every reporter present was bribed by Jason . They were invited to use today's press conference
as a way to revive Skylar's innocence, so most of them only asked Alyssa questions concerning the
video. Only that reporter was the only one who had asked about Emmett to gain attention.

Alyssa asked Aurora with disbelief. "Tell me, am I really your biological daughter?"

please them all, but since that seemed like an out-of-reach goal...it didn't matter anymore.

Now, she didn't want to be wronged any longer nor did she want to plead for their love.

Not bothering to say another word, Alyssa turned around to leave. No matter how much Aurora tried to
call out to her from behind, it only pushed her to walk even faster.

Although she didn't want to care about Aurora, she was still her mother. Her heart still couldn't help but
feel a little sad by the outcome of everything.

She walked through the crowd, absent-minded. Her mind was filled with various thoughts of how her
entire family had turned out and how her life had twisted for the worse.



Just as she was about to continue, someone honked behind her. When Alyssa looked up, she was so
surprised that she tripped over something beside her feet, falling down all of a sudden.

Although she was wearing thick clothes because of the winter, she could feel her knees scrape from
the impact. Alyssa hissed in pain.

Just then, a car door opened behind her. Before she could see who the person was, a familiar voice
echoed, "Alyssa, are you crazy? Crossing the road like that, do you want to be killed or something?"

Alyssa looked up, only to see “Justin” in a nice suit.

She was in a bad mood, and didn’t want to see this man.

Gritting her teeth in pain, she was about to turn around and leave when he grabbed her by the wrist.
She heard him saying in an indifferently and deep voice. "Did you fall?"

Alyssa didn't say anything in reply, wanting nothing more than to shake his hand off from her.

However, before she could, her body was suddenly lifted up in the air, and she later found herself in
Justin's arms.
