She smiled and pushed it back to the receptionist. “You haven’t had dinner, right? Take it back and eat it.”

The receptionist was flattered. ’OMG! These desserts were intended for President Nicole. She’s so down
to earth!’

“Thank you, President!”

After Nicole left, the receptionist opened the box and saw that there was a note inside.

Someone had written in fluid and beautiful handwriting with a fountain pen.

The receptionist suddenly stiffened. ’OMG… What did I just read?! This actually Mr. Ferguson’s gift to
President Nicole? Mr. Ferguson is capable of writing such cheesy and romantic words?!’

When Nicole received the call, she was already on the way back.

She did not look at it and picked it up when the phone rang.

“Hello, who is it?”

“Nicole, how are the desserts?” ’This damned Eric Ferguson!’

His voice was warm, deep, and pleasant to the ear.

Nicole paused for a moment. “Mr. Ferguson, can you not have such a basic hobby?”

’Please let go of the kitchen! Let me go too!’ Nicole thought.

Eric laughed in a low voice. “I’ve already learned to make desserts. Toto always had good cooking skills,
so I’ll certainly learn well.”

He was obsessed with cooking. It seemed that his defiant energy was used in the kitchen.

It just seemed so strange no matter how she looked at it.

Nicole speechlessly rolled her eyes. “Then… I wish you success in your learning.”

Eric paused. “I’ve started to do those things that you used to do just to experience how you felt back
