Chapter 1585

Clayton is Missing

Lil Michael‘s voice rang out, and Nicole instantly stood up. Her expression changed dramatically.

“What went missing?”

Lil Michael was bewildered and anxious.

“Daddy is missing! I went there earlier but no one was there.”

Nicole looked at Kai, who froze while holding a skewer, not knowing whether to continue eating.

“Maybe he went for an examination.”

The nurses and doctors were always like that.

Nicole‘s face changed as her heart suddenly sank.

“No, his examination was done
twenty minutes ago. He can‘t have another checkup in such a short period of time.”

She panicked as she spoke, and she quickly ran out.

Lil Michael followed closely behind with his two short little legs.

The hospital bed in Clayton‘s room was empty.

He really went missing.

The doctor was doing his rounds when he saw Nicole and Lil Michael
standing there with serious expressions. He also knew





that with Nicole‘s identity, she could not be neglected, so he hurriedly went over to ask.

“Ms. Stanton, what happened?”

Nicole‘s face was pale as she spoke. “Clayton is missing.”

The doctor was shocked for a moment before quickly reacting. “Wait a moment. I‘ll have someone find
him right away.”

Just as he spoke and was about to call someone, they
suddenly heard a voice which had not been heard for a long time.

“Nicole…”

Nicole froze and slowly turned around, following the direction of the voice.

Before the panic in her eyes could be hidden, it was caught by Clayton’s eyes. His
heart clenched fiercely.

It hurt a little.

However, he was not dreaming now.

This was not Southeast Asia, but Mediania. It was safe here.

She was alive, and he was alive too.

How wonderful was that?



Clayton wore a hospital gown, and he had lost a lot of weight, s o his clothes were loose on him. He
looked incredibly frail.

His face looked thinner, but that pair of dark and warm eyes



were still incredibly gentle when he looked at her.



In that instant, Nicole‘s heart quieted down at once.



The tears that tried to escape from her eyes were forcibly held back by her.

However, Lil Michael could not help it. He was just a child after all. He had almost lost his
daddy who raised him.

“Daddy…”

Lil Michael cried and jumped over, hugging Clayton’s legs. He could no longer
hold back and wailed loudly, his tears streaming endlessly.

“Daddy, I missed you so much! I thought that you died…”

Michael was emotional and said the words in his heart.

Clayton looked down and reached out to touch
Michael‘s head. His movements were extremely gentle and loving.



“I won’t. You haven‘t grown up yet, so Daddy won’t die.”

After a while, Clayton raised his head and gazed at Nicole again.
