This academic exchange conference was not open to the public.
In fact, the entire venue was heavily guarded. Only those with invitations were allowed to enter.
After passing through many security checks and identity confirmations, Qin Yufan finally entered the venue.
The academic exchange conference was hosted in a small lecture hall.
There were probably less than eighty seats in the lecture hall.
This signified that there would not be too many people attending the conference.
And thus, those who could attend this conference were either elites in the medical industry or important individuals from key financial groups.
As soon as she entered the lecture hall, Qin Yufan saw a face that she was not unfamiliar with.
Jian Yiling?
Why was she here?
Did Master Sheng get her an invitation?
Such an assumption was a reasonable explanation to Qin Yufan.
If it weren’t for Master Sheng’s connections, then there would be no way that she could have gotten an invitation to this place.
As she was a medical student, she would definitely be interested in this kind of academic exchange conference.
And if she was interested and wanted to attend such an event, Master Sheng would definitely help her get an invitation.
Qin Yufan gazed at Jian Yiling. Jian Yiling was currently talking to a middle-aged man with white hair in the backstage area.
As there was quite some distance between them, she couldn’t hear a word of their conversation.

She hoped to get some news about Lahaisen Hospital from their mouths.

Professor Huang from the medical faculty at Beijing University was also here.
Because of the quota restriction, Professor Huang could only bring two students with him. And thus, he brought the students that he had high hopes for. One of them was Lu Yuan and the other one was a male student.
As Jian Yiling was an exchange student, Professor Huang hadn’t invited her.
Similar to Qin Yufan, Professor Huang’s mind was not on the academic exchange conference itself.
Lu Yuan looked around the venue. She unexpectedly saw Jian Yiling at the entrance of the backstage.
