Chapter 222

An Accident

“Really? Emilee, on the other hand, was saved by Amelie and me. Mr. Byron, you should not meddle in
this subject.” Jeff

purposefully added to utterly anger Lamont.

Previously, Lamont would have been furious, but he had just had a conversation with Amelie and had
calmed down.

Lamont said nothing else and turned around to go.

Jeff looked at his hurriedly departing figure, smiled helplessly, then pushed open the door of the ward
and walked in.

The filming was delayed for two days due to Emilee’s circumstances. Fortunately, Mr. Thomson did not
harshly reprimand Amelie because of her strong background.

It was actually Cynthia who was unhappy and occasionally made sarcastic remarks about Amelie.

“I’m on it.”
