Amelie was sure that Willard had something to do with this matter.

Amelie and Lamont walked ahead while Miriam followed quietly behind them. Miriam looked at Amelie

much.”

Amelie gave the two a mysterious gaze, and then handed the flowers she had brought to Jeff.

“Thanks for dropping by.”

Cynthia said gratefully. She then quickly pointed to the side, hinting Amelie to sit on the sofa.

“Hey, don’t mention it! I’m glad both of you reconciled too.”

Jeff was a little embarrassed.

He was not used to being seen showing affection to Cynthia by an outsider.



She used to be just a childhood sweetheart, but now…

“Hey, what’s on your mind Jeff? Now get up and fetch me some water!”

Cynthia in anger looked at Jeff, whose expression was off.
