Going Back to Work

“It’s raining outside now, what are you doing outside?”

Rex asked with a serious expression, sounding concerned.

“Rex, I want to go find Lamont. I’ve been trying to call him but he’s not answering. I’m worried he might
be in danger,” Amelie said.

“Don’t worry about him right now. Just stay home and rest. He’s the CEO of Prosperity Global

Rex replied, sounding displeased. He grabbed Amelie’s hand and pulled her back into their room.

“I’m not going to spoil you this time. You can’t go anywhere,” he added sternly.

“Rex!”
