"Brother Xiao is a heartthrob that many girls want to date. Is it weird that I have fallen for you?" She answered with a charming smile.

Her eyes followed him as he left. She refused to look away.
She felt no love for him in the past. Therefore, the affection was not mutual in their relationship. Even when she found out how much he loved her, she was mostly overcome with guilt, not love. But for the first time, she actually felt her heart thumping for him.
"Brother Xiao, the great commander is looking forward to seeing you. Go and see your grandparents!" She said to him at the top of her lungs.. Lu Beixiao did not look back, but he did walk towards the house next door.
