Cheng Dafei looked at her with an attentive smile. The more he looked at her, the prettier she became! And, the more he wanted to get her!
"Ye Qiao, are you going back home? Why don't we go to for a swim? It's so hot today... what a perfect day for swimming!"
Swimming? If her Xiao knew about it, he would probably kill her!
"Cheng Dafei, I am not free today. Please get out of my way!" Ye Qiao replied coldly.
"Hey! Little girl, that day when you made the free-throw, I was the one supporting you. Did you forget it already? Have you no shame!?" Cheng Dafei could not help but take a chance. Nevertheless, he did not date to do anything more to her.
"Cheng Dafei, are you looking for death?! Do you know who she is?!" At that moment, Beichi came out from the recording studio, and he yelled at Dafei.
"She is Ye Qiao!" Cheng Dafei looked dumbfounded by Beichi's odd question.
"She is--" My sister-in-law! Beichi stopped as he saw that Ye Qiao gave him a look. He promised her to keep her relationship with Xiao a secret.
"She isn't someone you can go after! Get lost!" Beichi yelled at him. Though he was very reluctant to help Ye Qiao, he was certainly afraid of Xiao!
Xiao told him that night that if any guys were trying to go after Ye Qiao, he was responsible for chasing them away; otherwise, he would be dead when Xiao returned.
"Oh, Chi, don't tell me that you are in love with Qiao?" Cheng Dafei grinned evilly.
Ye Qiao already went downstairs by then, but she could hear what Dafei said.

It was the 20th of August - today was her first day of school! She had only received notice about the make-up lessons the day before yesterday!
After Ye Qiao got up from the bed, the first thing she did was to open the calendar. "The 14th day without seeing Xiao! It has been two weeks…" She muttered to herself before taking a long pink paper from the drawer. She folded the paper into a star and placed it into a glass jar. This was the 14th star she folded.
Although it was kind of old-fashioned, that was the most popular form of romance among lovers at that time.
She had been telling Lu Xiaogun that once she got 365 stars in the jar, his daddy would be back. She had no idea if Xiao already went abroad, but she had still been sending messages to him every day even though he did not reply or call; he must be swamped. Luckily, she was also busy with her own matters. She started a business and also had to study. She did not have much time to think about him, either.
As soon as she stepped out of her house, she met Beichi, who was empty-handed, with no schoolbags or anything. Fashionistas like him never brought their bags to school.
Beichi looked at Ye Qiao arrogantly. She had her hair braided and purposely dressed rather ordinarily. "Ye Qiao Qiao, you better don't misunderstand that I like you, I was protecting you just for the sake of Xiao! Also, you had better keep your distance from Xichuan, otherwise, I will tell Xiao about it!"
"Lu Beichi, who cares if you liked me or not?! Oh ya, there's one thing I need to clarify... Xichuan still doesn't know why I am mad at him. Your sister-in-law wants to give him some punishment first, so you better keep it secret and cooperate with me! Don't even doubt whether or not I have feelings for him unless you think that Xiao is not as good as Shen Xichuan!"

"Then what's the problem? Do you think I am blind? I already have Xiao as my boyfriend, why would I still think about Shen Xichuan?" Ye Qiao retorted.

"I was blind back then! Okay? I don't want to talk to you anymore. Stay away from me! Just make sure you don't let Xichuan find out!" Then, Ye Qiao walked away abruptly with big strides.
On her way to school, Ye Qiao almost got lost. In the 20 years that had passed, she had already long forgotten about school.
Li Yun, who was wearing a polka dot puffed sleeve dress, walked towards Ye Qiao as soon as she saw her. "Qiao Qiao, you are finally here! I was going to starve to death!"
She saw the two sets of meals in Ye Qiao's hands and knew that Ye Qiao was still as foolish as before!
