Chapter 1081 The maid put the tray in front of Sherry and muttered,” Hurry up and eat. Don’t let
anyone find out.” Sherryquickly lifted the lid of the teapot and teacup.

In the teapot were two large and juicy drumsticks , and the teacup was filled with freshly squeezed
orange juice. “Baby, I loveyou to death!" Sherry threw a wink to the maid and picked up the drumstick
to gnaw on it. The spicy drumstick and the sweet and sour orange juice were simply heavenly to her
taste buds. However, just as she was indulging in the food, there was a sudden commotion outside the
door. Sherry froze. "Hide the drumstick. I'll go check," the maid said warily and ran to the door. Sherry
continued to bite into the drumstick. John had gone out on a business trip, and the task of the
bodyguards outside the door was to watch her so she did not leave the courtyard. Thus, even if they
saw her secretly eating a drumstick, they would not go so far as to snitch on John. As soon as she had
that thought, the door suddenly opened from the outside. The maid was standing behind the door, and
Sherry yelled in fright, "Watch out! Get away!" The maid hurriedly stepped back. The door slammed

walked in from the door. "Ms. Shannon, let's go out first. John won't be happy if he knows we came in."



Shannon's eyes instantly reddened. She held back her tears and said politely to Julie, "Ms. Julie, can
you let me have a few words with my sister alone? Don't worry, I won't tell Master Stockton that we saw

courtyard. The bodyguards were only responsible for keeping Sherry from going out and did not care
about anything else. They all stood outside the door without moving. Soon, Shannon walked in front of
Sherry. The maid saw the situation and wanted to come over, but Sherry shot her a look, and she
withdrew with a puffing face. Shannon sized Sherry up. She no longer kept up pretenses and asked
with a cold and blunt face, "Why are you here?" Sherry took a bite of the drumstick. "If you can be here,
why can't I?" Shannon's expression showed disgust. Thinking of the party where she saw Sherry, she
asked again, "Have you been here all this time?" "Yep, I've been here for about a year." Shannon
choked, and her expression could not help but twist. Sherry simply ate the drumstick with gusto. Her
