She suddenly smiled upon hearing John’s taunt and remarked with a hint of spite, “Yeah, it’s strange,
but every time I see you, I feel my eyes tingling!”



As soon as she said that, she shot up from her side of the bed and flung herself as hard as she could
directly on top of John.

A sudden look of panic immediately engulfed John’s eyes that was still marked with amusement only a
second ago.

Before he could react, Sherry smashed against his body with all her weight.

“Hngh!” He let out a muffled cry.

Sherry looked at him and said sarcastically, “Oh, sorry, I think I might have lost my balance back there,
it wasn’t intentional.”

“Heh…”

John chuckled grimly.

Sherry was preparing to pull herself out of bed.

Not so fast! John took her by her waist and pulled her back on top of him.

He smiled. “Don’t worry about it, I won’t get upset about you throwing yourself into my arms first thing in

Sherry chuckled dryly and tried to wring herself free.

No matter how hard she struggled, she could not pull away from his stubborn arms.

His large arms chained her down like titanium shackles, and she was not leaving anytime soon.



Sherry began to panic as she grabbed the edge of the bed and tried to fling herself off the bed,
disregarding her safety.

John was alarmed by this but refused to let go. The momentum of the pull tore both of them off the bed
