Chapter 804

Not Interested in Her

Jordy’s attitude seemed to get colder. “When are you going to forgo your ego?”

Gloria sensed anger in his voice and looked at him in surprise. “Did anything go wrong?”

Jordy frowned in an instant.

He also wanted to know what had gone wrong.

Gloria was unable to comprehend the situation and said with a calm look, “I can eat by myself. You can
go.”

She then got up without difficulty. If he hadn’t seen her white shoulder covered with blood, he would
have doubted that she was not injured at all.

Using one hand, she could still eat with ease. He found his presence there pointless and got up to
leave.

God knew how agitated he was.

She looked at the leaving man. Not a stranger to his moodiness, she just felt that he was getting more
temperamental.

That was Jordy’s problem and had nothing to do with her. She just enjoyed her food.

Although her shoulder hurt, she could bear the pain and did not let it affect her much.

When she was full, she got up and took the food outside.

Sitting in the living room, Jordy found her actions both funny and annoying.



He opened his mouth, trying to say something, but Gloria paid no attention to him. She just put the food
down and then went back to her room as if nothing had happened.

He shut his eyes, took a deep breath, stood up, and headed out.

She was fine and did not need his care. There was no point in staying.

He then went to the suite where George was in.

Nydia happened to come out. At the sight of him, she blurted out, “Where’s Gloria?”

“In her room. She got injured. You can go and take care of her.”

Nydia was stunned.

Her face changed. “What?”

George’s face fell, and he looked at Jordy. He didn’t say a word, but his implication was clear.

Haven’t we agreed on keeping it from her?

Without even a look at the man, Jordy said in a bland tone, “Someone stabbed her with a dagger, but
her wound has been treated.”

Nydia saw him handing her the room card. Losing no time, she took it and stormed out of the room.

Only the two men were left in the suite.

George pulled a long face and sulked, “Why didn’t you take care of her by yourself? Did you have to tell
Nydia about it?”

If Jordy didn’t reveal it, Nydia would not notice anything. He would not say a word about it.



Jordy observed his expression and snorted, “What’s the fuss? You don’t want to separate from Nydia?”

George changed color as Jordy had read his mind. He just would not admit it. Instead, he justified
himself, “That’s what Gloria wanted, alright? She made it clear that we should keep the matter from
Nydia. She didn’t want Nydia to worry.”

Jordy sneered, “You think I’ll believe that?”

“Believe it or not, this is the truth. Now that Nydia went over, Gloria would hate you even more. You no
longer have a chance to tell her that you like her. Keep it to yourself and take it to your grave.”

Jordy gave him a cold look. “As I said, I’m not interested in her.”
