Brandon stared at the person through the mirror, watching his every move.
It was obvious that the person in the mirror also noticed his gaze.
Thus, their gazes met in the mirror.
Only then did Brandon see the person’s appearance clearly. He was tall and had thin lips. His
eyebrows reached his temples. His expression indicated he was scheming. It was obvious that he was
not a good person.
“I’ve heard a lot about you. Mr. Cassel, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” The tall man smiled as he
approached.
Even though the man called out his name, Brandon couldn’t remember who he was.
However, judging from his clothes and accessories, he was definitely rich and powerful.
“I am Daryl Orwell,” said the man when he sensed the doubt in Brandon’s eyes.
Brandon knew he was the notorious son of the Orwell family.
Daryl was despicable. All the nasty words could describe him. Moreover, he was ruthless. Anyone
would suffer once getting involved with Daryl.
Brandon frowned. He did not want to talk to Daryl. Just as Brandon was about to leave, Daryl
continued, “Mr. Cassel, you are so calm. It seems you guessed I would come to find you. What? Are
you interested in working with me, too?”“I don’t know what you are talking about. If you want cooperation, you can go to my company during
work time. I am off work now.”
After that, Brandon wanted to leave with Tye, but Daryl pestered him.
“Mr. Cassel, I don’t want to talk shop with you. We are related. You don’t know, do you?” Daryl raised
his eyebrows and asked jokingly.
Finn had said that before, but Brandon hadn’t felt any discomfort. Now that he heard this from Daryl, he
only felt disgusted.
How could he be related to someone like Daryl? Brandon was really unlucky. He even felt his blood
vessels were a little itchy from disgust.
“Mr. Cassel, that sickly person also looked for you, right? He’s dying. It’s not smart to cooperate with
him. But I’m different.” Daryl probably came here because he got word of that.
“I don’t know what you are talking about. I have nothing to do with your family.” Brandon looked at him
with disgust.
“Mr. Cassel, I know you have seen the paternity test. I promise you that when that sickly person dies, I
will have the Orwell family’s inheritance. I will give you whatever you want.”
Daryl spoke in a straightforward manner, but his eyes revealed a calculating light.
Daryl wanted Brandon to help him get the inheritance, but once he succeeded, he would turn against
Brandon.
Brandon had seen too many of this kind of trick, and he would not believe Daryl at all.Moreover, Brandon was not interested in anything about the Orwell family. Even if he had its blood, he
had never been cared for by the Orwell family since he was a child. Brandon felt he was not a member
of the Orwell family.
“Mr. Orwell, I have no interest in your family’s property. You can find someone else to help you.”
Daryl raised his eyebrows and said with a sinister smile, “You are really hard to persuade. No wonder
that sickly person spent so long to do so.”
“Excuse me, Mr. Orwell. I’m going to see my son.” Realizing that Tye had not come out for a long time,
Brandon turned around and entered the bathroom to look for him.
As he walked into the bathroom, he heard Daryl say from behind, “Mr. Cassel, are you really not going
to consider what I just said?”
“No need, Mr. Orwell. My surname is Cassel, and I have nothing to do with your family. I don’t want to
get a single cent from your family.”
Brandon was more afraid that he would get into trouble.
Brandon had a wife, a son, and a cute daughter. The family of four was so happy, so why should he
bring trouble to himself?
“Mr. Cassel, I believe you will regret it right away,” Daryl’s confident voice came from outside.
“You’re thinking too much.” Brandon sneered.
With that, he strode into the bathroom, wanting to bring the child out.
“Tye, where are you? Are you done? Mom should be anxious.”
However, the bathroom was empty!There was no child.

Brandon immediately sensed that something was wrong and pushed open the cubicle doors to check.
There was no one in any of the cubicles.
There was no trace of Tye.
In his panic, Brandon forced himself to calm down. When he thought of what Daryl had just said, his
eyes suddenly turned cold.
Was it his doing?
When Daryl stopped me outside the bathroom, did he ask people to secretly take Tye away?
Brandon recalled whether there had been any suspicious people around when he had just spoken to
Daryl.
At that time, no one had entered the bathroom except for a cleaner who had pushed a big trash can in

The size of that trash can could almost fit a six–year–old child!
Brandon ran out but found Daryl was no longer there.
As for the cleaner, he disappeared without a trace.
Brandon clenched his hands in anger. At this time, his phone rang. It was Savanna.
He took a deep breath and suppressed his resentment. He answered the call.“Hello, Savanna.”
“Brandon, where are you two? It’s been so long. Why haven’t you come back yet?”
Savanna found a stool in a cool place and sat on it. She waited for the father and son to come back,
worried that they would have an accident, so she called to ask.
“There are a lot of people in the bathroom. Savanna, are you anxious? Why don’t you find an ice–
cream parlor and sit down first?”
Brandon said gently.
“I found a tree to sit by. If there are many people, you can take your time. I am not in a hurry.”
Savanna said gently and hung up the phone.
She sat on the bench, the breeze blowing gently, her long hair flying. She was beautiful.
Then a thin man in black walked up to her and asked.
“Beautiful, may I talk to you for a while?”
