family laws, but I still care about you.”

Jerry’s face was rough, and when he smiled, the wrinkles on his face made him look more mature.

Ronian nodded in satisfaction. “Go rest.”

“Yeah. Take your time, Ronian. I’ll go upstairs first.”

“Um.”

Jerry got up and left the dining room, walking toward the stairwell.
