Chapter 318

The Maybach’s wheels rolled over silt, with sand flying in the air. The car stalled. Brandon jumped out
of the car.

A fierce kick landed on Santino’s chest. Santino spat out a mouthful of blood and fell back

Then Brandon kicked the other two into the river.

Brandon reached out and pulled apart the stone that was pressed on Savanna.

Brandon carried Savanna up in his arms from the silt.

Savanna had been exhausted by the torment. In a blur of consciousness, she suddenly felt her back
lighten. Then a pair of strong arms wrapped around her. Savanna opened her eyes lazily. In a trance,
she seemed to see a man’s firm chin, clear contours, and sexy protruding Adam’s apple. Such a
handsome man would not be someone else, but her man, Brandon.

Savanna panted. She was carried into the back seat of the car.

Seth and Jim drove over. Seth immediately took the driver’s seat and started the engine. Brandon held
Savanna so tightly that he wished to combine with her in one.

Savanna wanted to say something. Her lips moved, but in the end, she could not say it because she
was too tired. Savanna was so sleepy that her eyelids closed lazily again.

Brandon lowered his head and looked at Savanna’s face, which was so close to him. Although her skin
was not as delicate as before, her facial features were exactly the same as that before. Brandon
caressed the rough skin on Savanna’s face with his trembling fingertips. His heart was filled with

Savanna woke up from the nightmare. In the dream, she was tied to a big stone on her waist and sunk
into the river. Her nose and mouth were filled with salty seawater, which made it hard for her to breathe.
Just when she was about to be swallowed by the darkness, Savanna opened her eyes and woke up.

Savanna thought, am I in the underground?

It shouldn’t have a green curtain in the underground, and it was a style I am familiar with. Her eyes
swept around. It seemed to be the room of her and Brandon in the Moon Villas.

Savanna wondered, my soul came back for a visit?



Savanna pinched her cheeks and felt the pain. She took two more breaths and saw her chest rising
and falling.

Savanna was so delighted to be alive. She was going to find Brandon, but she stopped when she just
took a step forward. It was because she found that the soft layer of things on her face was gone.

The mask was gone!

Savanna started to look for her mask everywhere. Her consciousness returned, and scattered
memories surged in her mind. The mask should have fallen when she was tied by Rafael and struggled
in the warehouse. Savanna frowned. In her vague memory, there seemed to be a pair of strong hands
pulling apart the big stone on her back, and then she was held tightly in his arms.

In the blur of her consciousness, Savanna could feel the scent of pine that had filled in the tip of her
nose. It belonged to Brandon.

Suddenly, Savanna’s eyes widened. She rushed to the dresser and looked at herself in the mirror. Her
face was pink Her eyes narrowed slightly. Savanna saw that her face had recovered.

Savanna laughed.

This was a great surprise.

So Brandon did not see her ugly face. No wonder when Savanna pulled off her clothes that covered
her head, Rafael did not look at her in surprise.



Savanna could not suppress the excitement in her heart. She ran downstairs and saw Brandon cooking
in the kitchen.

Brandon sensed a gaze at him at the door. He turned back and happened to meet Savanna’s smiling
face. “I was just

wondering how long it would take for you to wake up.”

Savanna revealed a sweet smile on her face. She walked over and reached out to wrap around
Brandon’s sturdy waist from behind. Savanna pressed her face against Brandon’s broad back and
muttered, “Thank you so much, Hubby.”

Brandon’s hand that was cutting vegetables paused, and his throat rolled slightly. He said in a hoarse
voice, “What did you call me?”

“Hubby.”

Savanna’s clear and sweet voice swept away the haze in Brandon’s heart. Brandon put down the
kitchen knife and turned around. He held Savanna’s slender waist with his palm, carried her up, and
put her on the crystal table. Brandon placed himself between Savanna’s legs. Brandon lowered his
head slightly, and they could hear each other’s breathing

“Call me again.” His lips pressed against hers, and the end of his voice trembled with excitement.

“Hubby, Hubby, Hubby…”

Brandon was so excited that he couldn’t control himself. He sealed Savanna’s mouth, which kept
voicing out “Hubby”,

Savanna and Brandon had two years of marriage and five years of separation. When they met again,
there were too many entanglements and grudges between them.



Savanna had never called Brandon “Hubby” before.

How could Brandon not be excited? The word “Hubby” was a title exclusive to a man from his woman.
It had never changed since ancient times, and it would not change forever.

Brandon felt an adrenaline rush when he heard this title from Savanna, his beloved woman.

When the passion slowly faded away, Savanna’s flushed face was like a blooming flower, pure and
alluring, which hooked Brandon’s heart and soul.

Brandon looked at Savanna with a deep gaze as if he was drunk

Brandon stared at Savanna for a long time. Then he lowered his head to kiss her sweaty neck and
gently sucked on the soft flesh of her neck

Brandon hugged and kissed Savanna again and again for a long time.
