Chapter 33

Brandon bit her lips, which restrained her scream. His hot palm burned her skin, and her breath
was fast. Moans and gasps slip pass Savanna’s lips.
He pressed her against the table. She sobbed and put her hand on his chest. Her face was flushed and
begged him, “No! Please no…”
Brandon took a step back and looked at her deeply for half a minute before he walked to the bathroom.
With the sound of the door closing, she gasped and looked at the closed bathroom door. Her trembling
body slid down the wall.
Just now, she was a little afraid of him.
She knew that he was trying hard to suppress his anger, and she was more afraid that he would hurt
the baby in her belly.
She couldn’t help touching her flat belly.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Her phone rang. She took it out and found that there was no caller ID. she turned her head and looked
at the screen. It was Brandon’s phone.
She didn’t want to answer the phone. She just wanted to know who would call him at this late hour.
She went around the table and picked up the phone.
Winnie’s name was on the screen.
It was a call from Winnie.
When she saw the name, she felt her breath surging.
She knew it was immoral to answer a phone call, but she was really curious about what Winnie wanted
to say at this late hour. Somehow, she raised her finger and slid the answer button, “Brandon, I can’t
fall asleep again. Can you come here?”
Her sound was incredibly soft.
Both were silent for a minute. Winnie realized the one who received the phone might not be Brandon
She called tentatively, “Savanna.”



After two seconds of silence, she said:”Yes, it’s me.”
After confirming that it was Savanna who answered the phone, she said in a bad tone, “Where is
Brandon? Let him answer the phone.”
Smiling, Savanna fiddled with her nails, “Oh no! He’s taking a shower. When he finishes, I’ll ask him to
call you back.”
As expected, Winnie couldn’t sit still any longer. She held the phone tightly and said in a cold voice,
“Savanna, he doesn’t love you. What’s the point of you pestering him like this?”
“Winnie Landis.”
This was the first time that Savanna called Winnie by her full name.
“If he loves you enough, you should take care of your man and make him set me free. Do you know
what he did to me just now?”
Savanna stopped for a second on purpose, “his body is sexy on me…”

Before Savanna could retorted back, Winnie hanged up the call. Lowering her head, she put the phone
back. A cold smile appeared on her lips. Thinking of what Winnie said, her smile disappeared little by
little.
She knew clearly what Winnie had said. “If he liked you, he wouldn’t make your Thompson Group go
bankruptcy.”



Her heart clutched when she heard the truth.
With the door bursting open, Brandon came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a bath towel. Bright water
drops slid from his chest to his six pack before stopping at his pants. While drying his hair, he asked,
“did someone call me just now?”
“Yes,” Savanna frowned, “It’s your beloved woman.”
Hearing that, Brandon stopped wiping his hair. His lips twitched and he walked to pick up the pho on
the table. He clicked on the call record with Winnie, which showed the call time was 65 seconds
With knitted brows, Brandon dialed Winnie’s number.

“Hello, Brandon.” A soft voice immediately sounded in Brandon’s ears.
“Anything wrong?” Brandon asked.
“Brandon, I couldn’t fall asleep again. My belly is still painful. My period is torturing me.”
It seemed that she was crying and her breath shallow.
Brandon asked in concern:”Have you should wore the earrings I bought? Put it on and listen to music
to relieve your fatigue. And have you taken the medicine prescribed by Dr. Green?”
“Yes, but it’s useless. Brandon, can you come over?” ,
Hearing the request of Winnie, Brandon couldn’t help but look at Savanna. She seemed to be focusing
on cleaning up the steak on the table, but in fact, he knew that she should be listening to them.
Brandon looked down at his watch. It was twelve o’clock in the morning.
“Winnie, it’s too late…”
Before he could finish his words, he heard the sound of something heavy falling from the phone. He
took a deep breath and his face changed greatly. ^^
“Winnie…!”
Then, the phone hung up.
He stood up sharply, hurried to the cloakroom and changed his clothes. While buttoning up his sleeves,
he said to Savanna anxiously, “Something might have happened to Winnie. I’ll go there. Go to bed
early,”



After saying that, he ignored Savanna and left the room in a hurry.
Soon, the sound of car motioning came from downstairs.
It was quite common for Winnie to ask him to leave just by a call. She ignored the pain in her heart and
poured all the dishes into the trash can.
